Default Women in MMA - Catfight Girl Cards

Because "sex sells" so to speak, and in looking at the popularity of Ronda Rousey and the values / prices her cards have commanded. Is in fact the cards of the Women in the MMA more popular and possibly overpriced (supply / demand) to the degree that if you're breaking cases and boxes or buying single cards from an economic standpoint (as opposed to just as a collecting fan), is the best money tied into the cards of the girls?

If so, aside from Ronda Rousey, who are the other women in the MMA who are either deemed "Hot / Sexy" and/or have the greatest fighting ability and are the rising star / prospects in the sport?

Is Miesha Tate considered #2? Since she lost her last match, has her potential been diminished? Or was that just one fight and she'll be back and is still a top talent?

no other female fighter has or ever will command the prices, that Ronda's cards do. If you are looking to "invest" don't buy any other female fighters cards, they will not blow up in price like Rousey did.

Gina Carano's cards still sell pretty good, and she hasn't fought in a long time.

A lot depends on what the UFC does with the Women's Division.

Sara McMann is currently undefeated. She has a huge wrestling background and could be tough for Ronda to submit.

Yeah but do you think people are going to buy Mcmann's cards. Let's be honest, Ronda is the face of women's MMA not only becuase of her talent but because of her looks.

Cat Zingano cards should command good prices when they come out.

Even the "RING GIRLS" cards command high prices. Head to head, you can see a common (unnumbered) Arianny Celeste autographed or Jersy/Material/Relic card outperforms it's counterpart of most top ranked Male Fighters, even knocking out Jon Jones in pricing.

I think the same thing has occurred with the WWE "Divas" over the top billing champion male wrestlers when it comes to card prices too.

The card companies are smart to throw in the sex appeal into their product marketing. When it comes to trading cards... Danica Patrick cards outsells Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Maria Sharapova and even retired, Anna Kournikova still commands more attention than most male tennis players like Federer and Djokovic. And it's not just about being female, there's a seemingly clear lack of (or lower) demand for certain ethnicities, so it's not necessarily racist, hate mongering or prejudice, just personal preference amongst collectors, much like with the age, weight and looks guys prefer.

So, I do agree with some of the posts about "beauty" over "talent" and when there's both "Beauty and Talent" then that's when prices go sky high.

they will up until the bout with Rousey. being a coach on the Ultimate Fighter will help her get exposure, but if she falls victim to another 1st round armbar to Rousey, then the prices will drop like a rock.
