Pretty serious hiatus if he is actually vacating the title. Especially since he could avoid having to defend it for many, many months by claiming an injury or two.

during the interview he said hes not done and will be back...just on his own terms..and out of respect for other people in his weight class he felt that vacating the title was the thing to do

The guy has brain damage. Let him leave on his own terms or he will end up a zombie like Chuck.

I met Chuck Lidell, you cant understand him when he speaks in person to good any more...well, I had a couple drinks in me too so that might have made it a bit of a challenge, and he just isn't as coherent as he used to be.

MMA fighters are getting smacked around pretty much bare knuckled. Couple that fact in with training and these guys are walking concussions even before they step into the octagon.Something tells me those energy drink commercials GSP made where he acted a bit aloof in he wasn't really acting, but being himself.

I am actually a big Chuck fan. Maybe I caught him on a bad day or something but it was a lot of work just to have a conversation with him.

I will say this, such a nice guy. Had a smile and a handshake for everybody who recognized him. Truly a class act.
