Live.com 25% Ebay discount is back!

In case anyone hadn't noticed it, this is now good for up to 12 purchases per ebay account. However, the annual cash back limit is still the same ($2500). I haven't checked to see what the cash back % is today, but it looks like I was lucky to buy a couple of items last night when it was still 30%.

When it was only 3 purchases per account, I had a hard time picking and choosing what I was going to buy. But now, if it looks like they will continue to increase the number of purchases every couple of months, I am more likely to buy $100-200 items I am really interested in, versus trying to max out the purchase to get the maximum cash back.

See the thing with this is, I am really wanting to get a case of TNA wrestling Impact! (maybe Cross The Line, but that doesn't come out until Halloween), and the thing is, blowout has it on ebay for a BIN of $1150. The case is only $980 on the website. So I would only be saving about $30 if I did it that way. Although, the case of Cross The Line is only about $60 higher on Ebay than the site, so I might have to take advantage of that, since it would be a savings of $140 with the $200 limit. Oh yeah, it is back to 25% now.

I have always tried to buy boxes under $100 but with this I might get to go above $100. A great promotion I need to jump on it before it goes down to 8% again.

How many days did the 30% discount last?

It was at 30% for a week I think, then down to 20% for maybe a week, then this last stretch at 30% was atleast a week. Now that it is at 25%, I don't expect to see 30% for awhile.

Well, here at Pacific time 1:32 am I just got 25% off again. I used the search term 'd40x' which I found on one of those find-a-deal forums. It is a fancy camera and the cashback logo shows up(didn't buy the camera of course). The only problem that shows up is a error message that says the item is not eligible because you have to pay with Paypal which I did. The cashback qualifying message still shows up at the end but the error message is enough to scare some people away. I think as long as you have followed their guidelines they will keep their end of the deal(prob. have to deal with their CS which is hassle but who can say no to 25%). Honestly it seems that without the 25% there is very little to motivate trading card purchases at the moment so I almost put my wallet away when I heard it disappeared.

I expected it to last thru xmas as well _it was on alot of the promotional stuff that Ebay is sent out this holiday season...so that people would use them not all the better sites!

I got an email from Ebay powerseller and they talked about selling stuff with BUY IT NOW beacause they will be advertising live discount. Don't understand why they took it off now.
