With the holiday season over perhaps the discount may be over and what a shame, I still have a few cases that I wanted to pick up...guess we will have to wait till next year.

This is true, but in online retail, the holiday shopping season has to end at least a week before Christmas to accomodate shipping times. For most online retailers, their holiday shoppers have come, bought and gone by now. For those of us who are married, the holiday shopping season is just beginning!

Good luck! Despite what everyone thinks, the last Saturday before Christmas is always the busiest shopping day of the year. I'm going to try and brave the crowds as well.

In that case, you need some good luck, too!

I'm staying at home and watching the bowl games, then Baltimore/Dallas at night. No more holidays for one day please! (Even though this is my favorite time of the year... well, besides summer I guess!)

Currently not running but it has gone down and come back at least 3 times that I know of since the promotion started. My guess is it will be back but just not sure when. Cashbackr.com is a good site to link to keep track.

OHHH NOOOOO... Surely it's not over. I had planned on buying a few cases after the new year. Maybe or maybe not. Maybe I should have asked Santa to bring the cashback discount back...

Last month, eBay also teamed up with Microsoft Corp. to offer shoppers up to 30% off purchases of select fixed-price items when they land on eBay through Microsoft's search Web site. The promotion ended Dec. 17

Think eBay was done? Nope - here they come and say that I (as a seller) could no longer promote acceptance of money orders in my auctions. I can only say that I accept electronic payments - this now scared away some of the buyers.

eBay has become too big for its britches, and I've watched my sales drop as a result. Sadly, they still have a chokehold on the market. There are limited alternatives, and even fewer that have the traffic that eBay does.

I've taken almost all my business off of Ebay due to recent changes and their hostile attitude towards sellers.. They are their own worst enemy.

Customers are leaving for fixed-priced sites where eBay has less of an edge, and because of continued problems with unscrupulous sellers.quoted from article.

I AGREE WITH MANY ON HERE ITS ALL THE NEW EBAY RULES DRIVING SELLERS AWAY,,,THE WORST THING THEY DID WAS TO TAKE AWAY NEGATIVE FEEDBACK.I HAVE BEEN SELLING ON EBAY 10 YEARS AND MY NON PAYING BUYERS THE LAST 6 MONTHS IS MORE THAN THE FIRST NINE YEARS...

ALSO FEEDBACK IS A JOKE,,,,WITH THE 1 TO 5 RATING...

ALSO LINKING FEEDBACK TO FEES IS NUTS,,,TOO MANY THINGS YOU CAN NOT CONTROL.....

EBAY WAS A SIMPLE THING BUT NOW ITS A HASSLE..

Damn, I figured they would've had a high percentage off before the end of the year. I wish I would've just bought some stuff earlier. It'd have been nice to max this promotion out.

Yeah, pretty clear to me the 30% off promotion is over, not the cash back promotion aspect of Live Search. They only retooled their Live Search software like 9-10 weeks ago, this is still very much a work in progress.

Agree. Cashback is still active with many other sites right now just not Ebay and there has been down time before. Hopefully it will be back in time for me to get some $$ back on 2009 Topps Jumbos

I'm sure they are figuring out what their win/loss on this was. I'd bet money we'll see this again in the future. Maybe not near, but in the future definitely. I wish I had used it more as well.

Spoke with an Ebay rep today (different subject) and asked about this. She said they have no idea if it will be back. She suggested we all do a suggestion on the site to bring it back. She claims they REALLY do READ these and the more they get the better chance of seeing it

i think mostly 8%, but some say 25% if you refresh enough, or it might be dependent on your search keywords
