you can use multiple ebay accounts with the same live.com account, so the numbrer of purchases isn't a problem. i don't know if they're holding to the $2500 limit per live.com account, though.

Back when this live.com discount thing started, I was actually able to speak to a customer service rep on the phone. They told me I could use multiple Ebay accounts linked to the same Live.com account. She even suggested that I do it.

deboe your idea should work, but typically most are using live.com's $$ back to max out its potential. I didnt use it much, but even right now very little I'm interested in. Luckily I've still got 4 boxes of 08 Topps locally that I've got to get..then put those sets together, so that will keep me busy for the next few weeks.

What you guys need to do is find a seller you can trust and buy $2500 worth from them at a time. This can be considered a deposit or whatever, but that will max out your $200 limit per transaction at 8%. Then when that seller has something you want, you already have credit with him/her. When we were getting 25% cash back, it was incredible to buy stuff for $800, and get $200 back instantly. I "pre-bought" a LOT of stuff back then.

good idea! never thought of doin that! my only thing is i am off work from dec to late march so $$$ is tight, i juts hope the cashback is still going on in late march

I agree. It was WAY easier when it was 25% back. You could pay $800, get $200 back instantly and know you had an $800 shopping spree whenever you wanted one from your favorite seller. Spending $600 and getting $800 worth of stuff was very cool. If you have the money, spending $2300 and getting $2500 worth of stuff is cool too.

Disable your anitvirus if your using Norton, the cashback emblem should show then.

I did this last year and about a $1100 computer for $800, got back like $325. Bought a nice Digital SLR for $550 and got back $175. The only problem was waiting for like two months to get the money back but was worth it.

I understand what you're saying about having to wait 2 months to get your cashback. However, if you look at it from an investment point of view, that money you spoke of getting back was 30 and 32%. To get returns like that in just 2 months is like a 180% "annual" return on your money. Most people would kill to get that kind of a return, especially in 2008!

Waiting 2 months should be easy actually with this kind of amazing return.
