can someone explain this to me, go to live.com, search ebay, then find something i like, if that microsoft 30% comes up its good? i dont have to sign up for anything? just buy and pay within 60 minutes, thanks

You have to creat a Live account. Just go to live.com and create an account. Then go to the live.com homepage. Type in what you are looking for. Like "2008 Topps Triple Threads" and then when it brings up the results, the first link should be highlighted in grey and be a link to ebay. It should also say something like "You may be eligible to save 30% by using Cashback" or something like that.

bowman chrome case (just 1)
nikon IR remote
manfrotto tripod/head

total price on EEE was absolutely insane. came out to $60 a box.

btw, i am psycho when it comes to cost so i spent alot of time pricing out items across multiple etailers.

Did you use different ebay accounts? Because in the rules it says only 6 transactions per ebay account.

Finally!!! I got my cashback to work. For any of you out there having trouble getting the banner to show up after you get to the ebay page from live search, disable your antivirus. Thats all it took for me. I am running Norton antivirus and that was the only thing stopping me. I am a little worried now, it's like opening a floodgate LOL!! As of this morning, still 30 percent off on pretty much anything you want.

Thanks to everyone for all of the suggestions. A personal thanks to Pat who called me at home and tryed to walk me through the process. yes i have 3 seperate accounts. right now im at 1600 in savings so i should be ok for now. but yes, 2500 is the max per live.com acct

So if I understand this correctly, once you pull the trigger on something you then get the message in your inbox but then have to wait up to 60 days to get the 30% cashback from live? Mine currently says $0.00 available next to the pay me button...

That is correct. Once you answer the message on your ebay account, it can take some time for it to show up on your live cashback account. To be cautious, just print off a receipt of your purchase on ebay. That way you have a hard copy of the transaction to show. I only know this because I have been trying to get this to work for about 5 days and have read every possible scenario with microsoft live cashback.
