Default 2008 Upper Deck Premier Football Could Be Your Best Investment This Year!

2008 Upper Deck Premier Football Could Be Your Best Investment This Year!

With autographs, memorabilia, rookies, Hall-of-Famers and celebrities, there’s a Super Bowl celebration in every pack of 2008 Upper Deck Premier Football

North Las Vegas, NV (September 23, 2008) – With so many economic markets tanking, many sports fans are looking to invest in their passion by collecting 2008 Upper Deck football cards. The 2008 NFL rookie class has already made an impact so it only makes sense to invest in their futures right now. Some of the most limited and valuable rookie cards of the year can be found in 2008 Upper Deck Premier Football.

Each 2008 Upper Deck Premier Football rookie card features four memorabilia swatches, an autograph and is crash-numbered to 275 or less. Will Matt Forte, Darren McFadden or Felix Jones turn out to be the next Emmitt Smith? Could Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco or Chad Henne evolve into the next Dan Marino? Maybe DeSean Jackson or Eddie Royal will end up being the next Marvin Harrison? Those questions can’t be answered today, but for those looking to invest in one of the most talented rookie classes in years, the time is now.

“It has been a long time since so many rookie players have come out this early and shown that not only can they play in the NFL, they can excel,” said Brandon Miller, Upper Deck’s associate brand manager for Football. “Many rookie collectors get a lot more out of watching the football season when they have a vested interest. With values of rookie cards climbing with every one of their game-changing performances, 2008 Upper Deck Premier Football takes the fantasy out of football and makes it a sound investment.”

Every card in the set is crash-numbered and limited. With seven cards per $300 pack, there are at least two memorabilia cards, three autograph cards (one of those being a Rookie Signature Quad Memorabilia card), a “Premier Stitchings” woven patch card and a limited-edition regular card or parallel. Football fanatics will find autograph and game-used cards of today’s celebrated NFL stars as well as Hall-of-Famers. From Joe Montana to Peyton Manning, Barry Sanders to Adrian Peterson, 2008 Upper Deck Premier Football scores.

There are several other aspects that make opening packs of 2008 Upper Deck Premier Football a pulse-quickening experience. Upper Deck had some athletes add inscriptions to their signatures for the “Premier Inscriptions” set, so you could find the monikers like “Broadway Joe” (Joe Namath), “The Cat” (Felix Jones) and “Ocho Cinco” (Chad Johnson) in the set. Additionally there is a plethora of multi-signed cards in 2008 Upper Deck Premier Football including one subset that includes eight autographs of NFL stars all on one trading card!

One of the most popular events at the Super Bowl each year is the halftime celebration. The “Premier Stitchings Cuts” insert set pays homage to those special moments with very rare autograph cut cards of the stars that captured the world’s attention. Also included in the set are autograph cut cards of deceased celebrities who made the world laugh, hope and cry. Each of the “Premier Stichings Cuts” are extremely limited and will surely be some of the most sought-after cards in the set.

Investors can find 2008 Upper Deck Premier Football in stores now.

LMAO - IF UD Premier is my best investment this year I'm saving the box from my new fridge because I'll be living in it by New Years Eve. Who writes this stuff for UD ? The Brothers Grimm ? Aesop ?

I was shot down over Afghanistan on my last mission, captured by the enemy and taken into a secret cave prison. I was afraid they were going to subject me to water boarding, or jumper cables attached to my jumbly bits, but no, they did something more insidious.

They put a video camera on me. Lights in my eyes, they made me buy 08 Upper Deck Premier Football at suggested retail price, and then to top off the horror, made me open it and act like I was unwrapping gold. It's was horrendous.

I wish 08 Upper Deck Premier Football on nobody.

I wouldn't even post that fiction on my site if I were Chris, especially on the same day he is selling 07 at $100.+ below cost

My thoughts EXACTLY. Why would anyone want to "invest" in 08 if 07 has dropped so much in price? I think they should have said "2008 UD Premier Football could be OUR best investment this year.......when you buy it"

so they're implying that these cards will be good investments? Aren't card companies supposed to stay away from saying things like this? Either way that is one retarded sentence. Look we're talking about the economy, we're timely and relevant!

Another reason never to buy from UD. If they want to help us out of the economy lower the production so that we can waste our money on other stuff.

This "hobby" is full of used car salesmen and crooks. Anything goes anymore especially if it has the names UD or Beckett attached to it. Its a shame so many people drink the kool-aide these two are serving up. I guess its easy when you have the money to get the necessary forums to spread your bs.

If you want another tall tale read pages 16 & 18 of the Oct. Beckett. Its like UD and Beckett use the same writers.

Hundreds of people told them at the National how much they enjoy their box busting episodes ? For every one or two that don't like it, there are hundreds more who do ??? GTFOOH Yeah I love watching two aholes get the product hits in Exquisite and then do C movie type acting to try and look surprised.

If any of you have a Beckett MB account. copy and paste this thread on there and lets see how long before its removed. Its so easy to spread your BS when nobody can call you out on it.

Sorry im a Topps guy so I am biased. Yea topps deserves some of the blame also, they keep on dishing out new sets when we really need less sets. Letterman is cool and all, but that is now anothr supply that will kill the weak demand.

to me the whole "fake reporter" angle really come across like whoever is green lighting these things just has no respect for the intelligence of its main customer base (like people who read card blogs/messageboards)

Complete corporate arrogance or retardation?

I agree. They've been greedy for way too long on these products. The market, at least here in card land, needs to adjust.

I am not defending upper deck by any means, $300 is a joke if they think that's a good investment, but you can't compare 07 going for 99 bucks and 08. The 08 draft class is much better than 07, QBs are irrelevent in Quinn and Russell, Stanton, Edwards, Beck, Kolb, could be career bench guys, Peterson and Lynch are the RBs and then C. Johnson, Bowe and Ginn for receivers. The 08 class is so much better.
