Default Panini America Begins Stunning Preview of Next Week’s Father’s Day Promotion Set

Panini America Begins Stunning Preview of Next Week’s Father’s Day Promotion Set

June 8, 2012 at 11:42 AM

If you’re either not following the Panini America Twitter account (shame on you!) or simply weren’t paying attention to it yesterday (shame on you!), you missed a white-knuckled, edge-of-your-seat, all-day-long preview of just some of the stunning hits slated for next week’s Panini America Father’s Day promotion.

Luckily for all of us, our own Scott Prusha took the trip across town Thursday to the Panini America printing facility to document packout for the wrapper redemption program that begins shipping today to dealers and distributors in advance of next week’s big event.

So just in case you missed the many tantalizing Twitter treats yesterday, we’re going to showcase some of them again here. Some of the revolutionary reveals included game-used basketball’s and nets from the 2011 NBA Finals, game-worn Kobe Bryant shoes with an image of the shoes uncut on the back and footballs used during the NFL’s 9/11 tribute games during the 2011 season.

Enjoy, and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance over the next few days. The sneak peeks have only just begun.

some nice cards to be had but hopefully these packs aren't searchable like the Black Friday ones. packs were so thin that dealers could tell which ones had hits.

Packs will always be searchable. The key is to have an honest dealer who randomly distributes packs. Unfortunately, that's rare air.

Any packs with patches that thick will be searchable, unless they package them into mini-boxes with even weights of extra base making up for those with patches.

At least Panini is trying to held get customers into local card shops. I wish Topps would push redemption packs like the 2012 Bowman Blue Wave cards out to the LCS. Would make it more fair for west coast buyers

Don't buy any product from Panini direct through the website with the hopes of getting packs.... All the people who did that on Black Friday received cards that were produced after all the packs had been sold out, so Panini re-ran the presses and cranked out garbage cards with different borders and didn't include ANY of the hits that were advertised when we bought qualifying products from them..... The absolute WORST rim-job ever by Panini !!! Buyer beware !!!!
