If you pay by credit cards you are probably going to pay tax, plus dealers are going to negotiate more with cash. No fees for that and they can use it to purchase more cards or (I know this is make-believe) they can under-report cash.

not a dumb question...there are usually only 1 or 2 but this is my 1st Baltimore show. So when you see them remember where they are! I pick most of my stuff up as I'm leaving so I don't have to lug it around the show.

There will be plenty, they are usually near the signing area at the big shows.

I'll be there Thursday through Saturday. My first National after 35 years of collecting! The timing kinda sucks, since I don't have as much spending cash as I would like, but I couldn't pass it up again. I was kicking myself for missing Baltimore last time and Chicago & Cleveland are a bit too far to drive. I can't wait for some wrapper redemptions and autographs!

Not a dumb question as I have been to several National shows and there might be 1 guy selling supplies. It's been better in recent years as dealers are realizing that people need stuff to hold the cards they break.

I never would have thought that vendors would fail to have supplies on hand for sale. It just seems like something so basic. Not too mention the untold thousands they make on the cheap to help with their bottom line. It's like impulse buys at the checkout counter. It's easy money.

Another question:
Would I be avoiding lines if I buy the tickets online? I don't know for sure how many days I am going yet, but I don't want to have to wait in lines to BUY the tickets before the line to get in. How does it work?

Yeah you will avoid lines but to be honest in recent years I haven't seen the crazy lines like there were in years past.

Anyone know how long it takes to do on site grading at BGS ? Its not the raw review is it ? Anyone know what it costs either?
