Default (king James Rolling In Endorsements)

(KING JAMES ROLLING IN ENDORSEMENTS)

He just turned 23, has five years in the NBA, became the youngest player in history to reach 9,000 points and he only made $4 million a year ago playing basketball. Don't cry poor mouth for Lebron James though. He made $27 million in endorsements this year! Oh he'll make $13 million from the Cleveland Cavaliers this season as his salary goes up, but that is less than half his endorsement deals.

Among them are Upper Deck, Nike, and Coke. He also owns a sports management company, LRMR Innovative Marketing and Branding. With some old friends he works to make young athletes a part of his business and he wants to market the business of the NBA.

Trying to become the first Billionaire athlete, James may realize his goal in the next couple of years. He's moving out with the NBA to China, hoping to score big in 2008 at the Beijing Olympics. He's working on his language skills and wants to become fluent in Mandarin by the time he's there.

He has already hosted Saturday Night Live and been the focus of many business articles from business publications and not in shorts and a jersey.
