Mark Teixeira Autographs Steiner Deal

Mark Teixeira, the New York Yankees first baseman and AL MVP candidate, has agreed to an exclusive collectibles and autograph deal with Steiner Sports Memorabilia.

In what will be the first-ever Teixeira memorabilia line, Steiner will offer signed baseballs, photos, jerseys, bats, hats, and batting helmets, among other items. In addition, Steiner says it "will leverage their Yankees-Steiner Collectibles partnership to offer Teixeira's game-used jerseys, bats, batting gloves and several other unique collectibles".

Teixeira signed with the Yankees this past off-season after a trade sent him from Atlanta to Anaheim during the 2008 season. He homered in Thursday night's 3-1 win over the Phillies in game two of the World Series.

Is there really anybody in sports worth a $400 in person autograph fee??? I can't think of one...

Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan are the only two I can think of that would be worth paying a $400 fee for.
