The 411 on Tyreke Evans...
Did you know?
Height 6-6, 220 lbs and from Memphis (same college as penny hardaway)
He's a big, strong pg...imagine a bigger/stronger version of chauncey billups...
#4 pick in this years draft
Avg approximately 20pts 5rb 5ast/gm on the year
#2 ranked consensus rookie this year (arguably #1), since jennings 55 pt barrage, Evans has been flat out better than brandon jennings
Tyreke Evans cards right now go for only about 1/2 of what jennings go for...
Last 5 games Jennings avg 15.2 pts, 3rbs, 6 asts... Bucks 1-4 in last 5 games
Last 5 games Tyreke Evans avg 21.6 pts, 5.8 rbs, 4.8 asts... Kings 4-1 in last 5 games
After the bucks loss to San Antonio on nov 23rd, it looks like teams have figured out how to defend Brandon Jennings as the bucks have gone 1-4 in last 5 games with Jennings shooting under 30%...not true with Tyreke Evans as he has been doing it all in the kings recent 4 game win streak...The Kings are 9-8 on the year and doing it without leading scorer (30 pt/gm) Kevin Martin. Very impressive win total so early in the season in the very PG tough Western Conference (see Deron Williams, Chris Paul, Jason Kidd). Tyreke Evans is shooting close to 45% for the year...unheard of statistic for a rookie pg (his high fg% can be attributed to his power game as he overmatches most pg's) Many are already touting this guy as a "mini" Lebron.
Watch Tyreke Evans cards as they represent a very good value right now. If he continues to put up mini Lebron type #'s and the kings make a strong playoff push, his cards could soar past brandon Jennings (and soon). His cards generally currently close on ebay at around 1/2 of what Jennings cards end at.
Evans poured in 21 points (8-of-16 FG, 4-of-4 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and one steal in 38 minutes during Friday's victory over New Jersey.
Evans is one of the major reasons behind the Kings' surprising start, and is putting up young Lebron-esque numbers in first season. His stellar play may have already bumped injured starter Francisco Garcia to the bench.

Does that really say that it "maybe" put Garcia on the bench? Garcia would have been on the bench if everyone including him was healthy. Nocioni plays the SF just like 'Cisco and Nocioni was and is the starter. Garcia is not that good and shouldn't start.
PS: Evans for ROY!
