Default Topps introduces the first card flipping app for the iPhone

Topps introduces the first card flipping app for the iPhone. For years people have flipped cards to see who could land closest to the wall, now with Topps Flipp, this iconic game moves into the 21st century.

Play against the computer or challenge your friends as you flip some of the most valuable trading cards against a virtual wall.

Topps Flipp is available now in the iTunes store.

Maybe instead of doing STUPID things like this they should work on getting product released on time.

yeah, because having some tech firm make an iphone app for them caused product delays...

Default I have an iTouch with a lot of apps...

I checked out the Topps app and it's not worth it. The reviews say it's too basic and doesn't respond well.
It's also overpriced for it's limited use at $2.99. Most of the decent apps are 99 cents or free. It's only when you're getting major software that they cost more. Some games with intictae graphics and gameplay may be $4.99 or more but this isn't close to being in that class.

IMHO,
Vinny

While I understand what you're saying, the poster has a legitimate point. Someone within the Topps organization is wasting time and attention on this silly project. As a consumer, I'd rather have them do the things that I care about (put out a good product with good customer service) well and focus their energies on executing.

As a former marketing professional, I can speak from firsthand experience that boondoggles like the 'flipping app' can definitely cause a lapse in core competencies. The fact that two projects are unrelated doesn't mean that they can't be fighting for the same internal resources.
