Actually, they destroyed the non-auto metal cards. They never said they would destroy the leftover auto cards.

However, they did say that they would never offer them for sale at a price lower than their initial prices on eBay. Since this promotion is not technically selling the cards they seem to be in the clear on that one.

Still you'd end up spending at least $60 in product to get a $5 card back. Not worth it.

You're being sarcastic I hope. I would think giving away cards for free that they said they would not sell for less than what they were sold for seems pretty wrong to me.

I bought Razor products before, but like I said several months ago, I will NEVER buy another Razor product again. I can't stand the shady way they do business.

Matt, I don't know if I would call it sarcasm, but I will say up front that I am not a big fan of what they are doing. I asked about them promising not to sell for less than their initial offering on another site and this is the response I received:

I can't remember another small business with such a poor "strategy" (for lack of a better term) for retaining consumers and building a brand.

This response from Razor/Brian is indicative of the way they've "done business" (again, for lack of a better term) from the giddy up... shouldn't be a surprise.

True true. From the looks of the prospect market tho 2008 will be their debut and curtain call as well in the baseball market.

I have gotten rid of most of my Razor stuff but will see what happens with Lawrie and another couple of guys.

I like the looks of some of the cards as well, but the secondary market on them right now is brutal.

I've dumped a bunch of Razor stuff but I like these /20 letter autos. I'm one letter away from another complete Lawrie. I think any complete name could be good if the prospect blossoms. I figure there can't be more than 10 complete names made of any of the decent prospects. I would imagine they are spread out beyond what we see here and on websites, making it tough to guarantee too many complete names.

Letterman to me is a great product. Busted a ton of it at it's recently reduced prices and love the stuff. Appreciate the promotion from Brian and crew.
