Look for these STUNNING Genetic Matrix inserts will fall one per box in Leaf’s upcoming ROOKIE RETRO release.

At the 2013 Industry Summit, Leaf promised a new era of innovation from our company. The game-changing MATRIX technology is the first step in the realization of Leaf’s promise.

The key word that is If!!!!

Too bad the card is not that appealing with no jersey name at all.
At least upperdeck have college uniforms on them that way it looks cooler like a rookie card of all the players Like An Amateur card per say!

A Good Idea With leaf and this will evenmake tgem more profitable is to team up with Nike or Reebok
Then Players could wear those shirts. If the players are not under those names, then under armor anything in that way its like a paid advertisement. Rather than seeing blank!
Panini got the Drivers seats in NBA Cards!
The professional uniforms means alot!
Anybody says its not are lying to themselves!

I would agree that the technology does look shaprt. However I think players without pro logos are boring. Next they will resort to them in street clothes. college football might not be too bad but baseball & basketball players in plain uniforms. no thanks

Everyone who collects remembers Fractal Matrix from the 1990s. Anyone who tried to build the set needed a lot of patience and aspirin.

Its like Dear to Tear. No one wants to see it again. Make a card with a nice, clean design, and save the tech for the inserts. BTW, the Fractal Matrix, which I know is coming, is another name for refractor.

Can anyone come up with something new, or make something old new?

My god, people will bitch and moan about anything... Don't buy them if you aren't interested.

If licensing is your issue, wait until they release a set of these for wrestling, golf, etc. No complaints there, right?

I for one am interested in how these pop in person. Try and be positive once in a while people. It's a "hobby", remember?

I love how this thread is littered with spelling and grammar errors.

Seems kind of familiar from some older sets, if not I'm sure they look nice in person. Not a product for me though.
