I prefer to count work days. 9 work days left until I leave for Chicago as I am heading out Monday and going to the Cubs game Tuesday.

So. Who will have the best wrapper redemption? Right now from my POV its either

Upper deck (will be doing some products)
Press Pass (each pack has an auto)
Panini

Not sure about leaf. Not sold on the idea of "Leaf Bucks"

I will be at the game Tuesday also. Get it out of the way and hit the National (no "s") running Wednesday. Field Level 7 rows behind the visitors dugout.

I guess this question is for the dealers that will be setting up there:

If we bring stuff will you guys trade or buy from us? Say I bring a lot of inserts does anyone allow trading for stuff they have or say credit (I'm not talking about big distro's like Blowout and others)

Just want to know if I should bring stuff to possibly wheel and deal with

Had considered doing the Panini VIP night, but they raised the price and the redemption list kind of sucks unless you primarily do basketball. Probably just a little Panini and maybe some Topps and UD. We'll see.

people will wheel and deal...I'm not very good at that in person though, so I usually don't....I even walked around with that huge AJ Green auto last year, cuz some guy offered me $50 and I figured it could be worth more than that, bought a giant top loader ($8, now I wonder if I ever do sell it, how I'll ship it....

Default table 835P

Fairly new to the site here.....but I will be set up at Table 835P, with a few other guys, and will have a normal array of pre-war cards. Many old judges, tobacco, caramel and type cards. I will also be throwing a dinner, with open bar, for around 200 people which should be a lot of fun. Getting in on Wed and leaving on Sun......It will be my 13th or 14th National in a row. I wouldn't miss it.

Really? C'mon, all collecting is good. Vintage is amazing. Cards started as a promotional item. The different ways cards were distributed...the great players who made the game what it is today. True rarities and often works of art. Seeing a real Ruth doesn't do anything for you? Nothing wrong with getting excited over the latest minor league phenom either or collecting cool new cards of your favorite team or player.

And this hobby is a better place with people like Leon in it. Can't wait to check out his table!

I didn't come on here to promote another site. Sort of a pet peeve of mine.....but it's a dinner for the net54baseball crowd. I am an old geezer but also enjoy watching some of the younger guys do the prospect and other new Topps things....It's all good. This is the kind of stuff that will be at the table, though this is in my collection...
