Cheese head im not a vet but i got answers

1) Parking is going to cost anywhere really. Chicago has no public parking spots you must pay to park. The hotel of the convention center charges 12 i think a day.

2) Cardboard box. Just test it out and make sure it will hold the size of cards. Im using a 2 row box.

Thanks for the answers! I will definitely have to go with some type of backpack I think. $12 a day isn't too bad, especially because I'll only be there one day.

parking is right across the street from the convention .. and i would say $16 . . if you go a couple days - buy the vip parking pass from someone . well worth it.

There is a park and ride lot north of the show, it is $5 to park there. The walk is a little further than the parking garage unless it is packed and is obviously outside.

I also did the priceline thing. Results were ok. I got the...The Westin O'Hare for 80 bucks a night. about a 1/2 mile walk so not to bad. At least they have a pool for the wife and kids.

I actually have a question!

1) where are the entrance doors? Near cooperate booths?

2) Where is the VIP party at?

It will be in a conference room in the center. They will tell you where when you pick up your badge.

Actually, looks like corp booths are more in the middle this year. On your map the entrance is at the Main Lobby. Topps is booth 637, BO is 838.

Supposedly since last year was so bad they are going to try and stop this practice this year.

yea, I couldn't remember since I didn't pay for parking, I bought the drivers admission. I also didn't realize it's only about 3.5 hour drive (per Mapquest) since the drive with 2 other collectors went quick. I'll be in early on Wednesday with plenty of time to get my creds.

Yep, their redemption packs were popular last year too. They ran out.

Got great value out of those packs. Myself, my buddy, and his dad each bought two boxes of elite. We got KILLED, but the promo packs literally covered the cost of the boxes in sale value. pulled a marshawn lynch 1/1 auto, 3 towel cards, the base rookies sold for 10-12 bucks, 3-4 cracked ice cards, and a scott prusha patch auto... which sold for 30 something dollars on ebay

Mainly because they said people could get them online. and had no limit on how many packs you could get. And they said dealers got there before people, (even vips) were allowed in.
