Yeah, I am hoping for some too. The last National in Chicago had a mix- lots of vintage but also a lot of modern day stuff. Hoping for the same, and I hope to win the BO raffle this year for some swedish fish!

I usually get a lot of auto tickets for guests at TriStar shows and such, and skipping the lines is awesome after years of waiting for my ticket number to be called.

So if I'm a broke kid who may have like $40-$80, should I even bother going?

Obviously not if I lived far away, but I live just near Madison, WI so it'll be a nice, easy drive if I go.

gonna be $25 at the door to get in. If you can get the folks to get your ticket early you can save $5. If you really like cards, I would say yes. You will see some amazing stuff and there will be lots of cards to buy.

Thinking about going for my first time, but have been told its a vintage baseball love fest.

I only buy/collect modern high end football cards 1998-present, do not bust wax a lot, do not collect random autographs. Just curious if this will be a good place to find rare football cards. I know the experience will be cool, but I hope to make the most out of the trip and be able to pick up some nice low # football since I will be flying out of SC

Are there any suggestions now that would save me some money? Is it even worth me going? Any help will be greatly appreciated....TIA

would it really be worth it if me and two other people go? i live in nevada and it would probably cost $400 for EACH plane ticket, plus you have to rent a car, pay for a hotel, buy a VIP platinum pass or whatever, eat food, etc, etc. i don't think paying $2500 for all of those things would really be worth and i haven't even bought a card yet!

If money is not a problem... Go! Also, you dont need to rent a car, use a train or taxi

i think a taxi would be even more money than renting a car. $2500++ on NO cards is A LOT of money. i don't think it's worth it and what am i going to do when i am not at the card show? more $ will be spent.
