2010 Bowman to Feature USA Baseball Program

USA BASEBALL TO MAKE FIRST APPEARANCE IN 2010 BOWMAN

On the heels of announcing that it is now the official baseball card of USA Baseball, Topps is pleased to share the details of the program’s first appearance…
The much anticipated and completely revamped 2010 Bowman will include both the 2009 National Team and 2009 18 & Under National Team. (image attached)
The insert set, which will be branded Bowman Chrome, will be seeded 1:4 packs and will also include the following parallels:
Refractor Parallel Sequentially numbered to 750.
Blue Refractor Parallel Sequentially numbered to 250.
Gold Refractor Parallel Sequentially numbered to 50.
Orange Refractor Parallel Sequentially numbered to 25.
Red Refractor Parallel Sequentially numbered to 5. Hobby Only
Super-Fractor Parallel Sequentially numbered 1/1. Hobby Only
Printing Plates Sequentially numbered 1/1. Jumbo Box Only

This will be the first and last time collectors will have a shot at the 2009 teams in Topps products.

Start with Strasberg, Ackley, a bunch of other decent prospects, and now add Harper.... Bowman will be (and is) HOT!

In other words, Harper's previously released 2009/10 UD USA autos are safe in terms of value for a while, since this product which will be the only one to have him in his USA jersey and won't be auto'd.

Of course, once he's drafted and signs with Topps, his BCDP autos (and AFLAC's) will definitely take their toll on them.

Wonder why Topps didn't include the 16U team.

Harper has like 20 USA cards already. Nobody will want these when Harper gets drafted and is shown in a MLB uniform. If I pulled a few of these, I would flip them asap.

i disagree with the comment that no body will want them. if he truly will be the lebron of baseball. i think this card will be good. its a nice looking card. i dont like the look of his upper deck cards. plus if you happen to get a 1 of 1 or a refractor that will have a nice value.

i will be holding onto all of mine
