This is big news for the #10 holders. I would guess well into 3 digits the first week.

It's just really sad that Topps completely blew it with this Finest redemption program. I didn't even hear about #9 until I saw #10. They waited three-four weeks for most and all of a sudden they rush the last two because they know the autos of these last two will be far bigger in chrome than rookies in Finest, autographed or not. They should have announced one per week on the same day no matter what. I know they wanted the callups, but this backfired. Topps screws up again, and if it weren't for Upper Deck being worse, there would be a lot more frustration and hostility aimed at Topps.

Anyway, I will be selling my two Jobas immediately!

I can see why they waited, because if they hadn't, they would not have a Joba card in this set. However, it makes the Okajima/Matuszaka dual look like a panic move, because there are quite a few they could have put on that card instead.

The Joba will be the most-expensive card in the set because it is autographed. I would expect a bump in sealed wax again because of this. The Okajima/Daisuke will be the lowest, unless Dukes really flames out. Of course in the end at least two of these 9 guys will not pan out so then theirs will be the lowest, but at the end of 2007, the Dukes or dual will be the lowest.

Dukes and the dual are already the lowest, so at the end of 07 they still will be.

Damn. I just sold the complete set for $200 last week. I also think I may have traded some #10s away.

Dave I just commented in another thread in the baseball section that my #10 came from a member of this board. I bet it was you. I traded two of mine to you for random numbers I didn't have and you sent me an 8 and a 10. Who knew.
