god these cards are UGLY. Looks like a kid designed it.
No pictures of the players. nothing on it that has anything to do with the teams or players.

Patches are nice, cards are ugly. Hopefully it jumps in price the first few days like series 1 and I can flip for $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

They have a picture of Stephen Strasburg Incredible Emblems but he's not on the checklist for that subset!

You're only half right. There are other cards that are going to sell for a lot, and they won't contain the same "three biggest names in the NBA right now". People like quality, "authentic" patches.

No one, I'll say it again...no one can produce what Famous Fabrics is producing and include pictures of every athlete on every card. You can't have it both ways in today's world of exclusive player contracts unfortunately.

when did i say anthing about pictures of athletes? i just think the card design itself is not very attractive (pictures of people or not).

I know. I tried to edit my post, but this thread won't allow that. I was going to acknowledge that you didn't say that and add that I understand some people think they are ugly while others love the look.

Once people get these in hand, they seem to like them a lot more than if they are only seeing pictures. This probably isn't true in every case, but it's definitely true in many cases.

How can you guarantee they are "authentic"? I know you like to question other products authenticity so I'm just wondering what this set will do beyond what others do. I personally don't like sets that combine all sports into one product but that's just my opinion.

It has basically become pointless for anyone to post an opinion on a Dr Price product because you will have Wheeler all over you. The Mantle cut posted has a great card design and I agree no need for a picture. The other cards leave alot to be desired in my opinion. Maybe Wheeler is a buyer for this company so he knows the stuff is all authentic since he is buying it off the athletes backs. In all honesty Im sure it is all authentic but can we really tell? Delonte West has the same looking jersey as Lebron, only the number is different. Lets just HOPE this product has more value and HOLDS value alot better than Ringside boxing did. Singles and box prices are both DOWN as most of us knew they would be.

Hopefully they're not misspelled on the cards. It's a checklist. Typos are common these days unfortunately. Here's an example of one I just found:

You are picking on me (although we both pick on each other). It's kind of funny that you go through that much trouble of looking through all of my posts to find one with a mistake in it. However, was a writing a checklist of a product that thousands of people will read and possibly purchase? No. So it doesn't matter what I wrote. Only a few people in a forum are going to read it.
