I can't wait. I'm at the airport now waiting on my flight to Baltimore. I'll be there all week with a dealer friend of mine who has a table at the show.

I'm probably going to drive down, I just want to know who thought holding a convention in Baltimore in August was a good idea? Baltimore is the hottest, most humid place on Earth in August!

It's been really nice the last week or so. Was actually a little chilly when I went outside with my kids last night. Should only be in the upper 80s through the end of the week with relatively low humidity.

Actually I am from Mississippi. I've never felt an oppressive humid heat like the one I spent in Baltimore.

That said, this will be my first national since 1991 or 1992 (I forget) and I'm excited as all get out for it.

I'm from Texas so not really too worried about the heat. This is my first national , although I have collected for 21 years. My employees probably think I am nuts as its all I have been talking about for the past couple of weeks Look forward to meeting everyone this week.

I have no intentions of seeing the sunlight this week, so the weather will not affect me. Baltimore Convention Center from dawn 'til dusk!

Looking for Andre Dawson Serial numbered cards that are his jersey number - either #8 or #10. So looking for cards like 8/8 or 08/99 or 10/250.

Depends on how long you stay for and how much you buy. For the past couple that i have gone to with food, hotel, parking, addmission, travel expenses (gas/tolls) and cards, between $1500-$2000.

Its worth a try, but my brother was at this same convention center earlier in the year and he said he couldn't find a signal inside the entire weekend. In fact, even at the hotel which was like across the street from the convention center, he had to go to one certain corner of his room to pick up a signal.

its different for everyone i myself am looking for huge deals on large lots so i have in the past spent upwads of $50,000 at a show however 95% of my deals come in after the show ends if a dealer has a bad show or picks up some good deals they flip it to me for a quick profit

Depends on how much you buy. I didn't buy much the time I went(but I was also a dealer, so the stuff I bought I got on the cheap)

Between hotel, fuel(if driving), meals, entertainment, and booze booze booze...look to spend about $400 a day minimum.
