Did Topps license the use of that song? If not, Daft Punk might be a little upset.

It's nice to know that was your main concern in the video. Thanks for contributing to the forum.

It was a nice way of telling Topps that they have committed copyright infringement if they haven't licensed the song. Other than that, the video doesn't really warrant any type of comment. Topps made a good business move to leverage Strasburg as much as they can. What else is there to say?

Does anyone know if Harper signed his mlb contract yet and if so if Topps signed him? Might see the same publicity when he gets called up.

I honestly am sick of hearing about this guy. When he gets 300 wins then it would be a great topic. Can we please move on...

Amen....between Topps and Espn being all up under his junk with everything, there comes a point when it becomes over exposure! I mean he is a rookie afterall, everyone thought the world was coming to an end when they put him on the DL with a sore shoulder!

If he can go 15-5 a few times, I would be happy although I don't own any of his cards and don't plan too.

Whenver he pitches I watch his pitch count and it is way too high to get him through 7 in most cases. 80 pitches through 4 is not going to get it done. He has a lot of raw talent but I am very concerned about his long term prospects regardless of his arm motion. I am not discounting the possible issues with his arm motion, but separately his pitch count is going to yield few 6+ inning games and will probably cost him starts. Perhaps fixing mechanics will fix his pitch count too.

Standard portion of MLB contract - if at least five players have signed with a third-party, the rest of the players under contract can be dragged along. Same thing goes for NFL contracts. This is how players give up their likenesses for games like Madden.

So many ppl like this on this forum. The poster in question made a very good point about copyright acknowledgment. You can't be yourself around here w/o someone trying to police your speech, what gives?

It's still the most interesting and informative hobby site I've ever known and there are some very nice ppl here. The fact that BO has the best deals in America on hobby boxes/cases doesn't hurt either. I will continue to come here to research new products for as long as it stays such a fun place to visit.

So my question is next draft will there be another Strasberry(on fire rookie) to boost sales again?
Strasberrys stardom has fallen off imo. (at least right now)

Well I know for all 2011 Products, Bryce Harper will be the next "strasburg" in sales.
