Sorry for the late post.....busy weekend and even now I just read it!

2008 Legendary Cuts came out smokin' Hot. As we have been mentioning the past 3 weeks in our Market Report, we knew there was something up with this product. A lot of inside rumors about a production cut/distributor cut/added content. What we did not know was that there was going to be a lawsuit from Topps. Turns out that the this only helped to hype up Legendary Cuts. This product would have done well just based on its upgraded content this year but the hype definitely knocked it to another level. The breaks have been amazing. With Topps obtaining the CMG license, it seems like UD unloaded all their older Autos and Cuts into one last product in Legendary Cuts. 2008 Donruss Elite Football is also a winner. If 08 Prestige Football is a $100 box, Elite should be up to $110-$125 in a matter of weeks. Better content and higher end product. Not too much of it out there.

We are also seeing a lot of action on 2008 Bowman JUMBO Baseball. For some reason, lots of collectors are now breaking the Jumbos throughout the Hobby. It was the other way around when the product came live but there has been a switch in the past two weeks to Jumbos which are about $25-$30 more a box. There must be a reason. 2008 USA Team Baseball is still moving well. Off its initial levels but sure to bounce back to the $80+ mark in the coming weeks. 2008 Playoff Prestige Football also keeps hitting new highs. Last week they were at $1000 a Case. This week its $1200+. In the long run, this may be the shortest product all year when Football starts. 2007/08 UD Ultimate Collection Hockey is also drying up along with 2008 UD Draft Edition Football. 2007 Bowman Sterling Baseball is on the move up and 2007/08 UD Ultimate Collection Basketball is also moving up.

On the presells, the big 4 are still the main products to jump on: 2008 Topps Triple Threads Baseball, 2008 Bowman Chrome Baseball, 2008 Topps A & G Baseball, and 2008 Topps Chrome Football. We can start to add to that list. 2008 UD Goudey Baseball looks like it will surprise with the content and the 2-3 on card Sports Royalty autos will be a HUGE hit when it comes live. Keep an eye on the US Open this weekend. Very few people think Tiger will win it after returning from his injury. If he does, then watch all that golf come back fast and furious.
