So look who gets to pay for Topps' exclusive deal? WE do. That is a huge increase from Topps, and I bet they have the same amount of the Ozzie Smith type boxes they have always had.

Thanks a lot Topps -- way to continue rewarding your loyal, long-term fan base.

At the very top of this thread it says $300 SRP. Ok....so how then is a 10 box case now $3600?

Isn't the SRP set by Topps themselves?
That is damn sure some funny math ain't it Crash!!

I found this tonight on another web site for pre-sell at 230.00 a box, or 2250 a case...... I think Topps is doing a horrible job of marketing their pre-sells if there is this much of a difference between distributers......

JBS agreed no junk in here. Guess Topps finally got the hint to leave out the dud players.

Now the key is the price per case. Thinking it may be a little more difficult for this product to be profitable at the current price point. Although that could be dependant on how many of the bigger names will be allocated to each 10 box case.

Well you saw my price predictions......I mean the average there is like $200 a box. If you factor in mystery packs (what will they have this year)? then that can put it to $250 a box. If there is a big hit per case (a cut auto or patch or few big player per case) then $3K may be worth it. Heck if there is 1 cut auto per case with that checklist! 4K is worth it!
