Lots of angry comments about the design, I think they are nicer then last years, but they look bascially the same. And that mystery player is Ruth I bet you!

Yea they kinda look the same, but these look nicer. I dunno, for the price i was expecting a little more. Did you see the presell info for the sterling? It says 8 cards per box. I was still a little confused as to the overall breakdown of the product. On a side note, i got my 5 box case today, so ill be opening that later, ill let you know how i did.

I was thinking the same thing, must be a typo? It said 3 cards with 1 low numbered, then said 8 cards, then said a jumbo patch, I don't understand. We will know on the upcoming months.

$350 a box is going to make it INCREDIBLY HARD to make a profit as a "player-flipper". Even at $300 (direct cost?)...nearly impossible.

The big question is how tough the seeding will be for the highly desirable players - Ruth (if/once confirmed), Cobb, Wagner, Gehrig, Robinson, etc.

In 2006, Gibson was I believe 1 in 191 boxes...OUCH, almost 20 cases to get just one!

And there are a ton of $100 boxes waiting to happen.

The Jumbo Swatch should be the "Mystery Pack Case Hit" I bet - similar to this year's Letter Patches. At least that's what the description on Page 1 looks like (the last 2 sentences - parallels or jumbo swatch).

Yea that is what I understood from that paragraph, well we still have 5 months till release date, I am not going to pre-order it at that price anyway.
