Default Wierdest Hit Ever...WWE Dog Tags...

So I was in Walmart to pick up a new iPod charger and while passing the cards I noticed something new that said "Relic". I know the Dog Tag thing is getting popular...and apparently Topps is taking it a step further with WWE Dog Tags Ringside Relic Edition. 1:24 yields an actual metal dogtag with the "athlete" on one side and a piece of used...something on the other. Under any other circumstance I wouldn't even think about buying something WWE. I think it's the dumbest thing I've ever watched (sat through an episode while on vacation in February). BUT, something about these intrigued me. I bought two packs, and lo and behold, I got one of the the relic...tags. Some little Leprechaun dude named Hornswoggle? I dunno. Definitely the strangest piece of memorabilia in my collection. Kind of a cool idea for the kids though.

I'm guessing that is a concept you won't be seeing in an NFL licensed product anytime soon.

Good gimmick for kids, I could see kids wearing their favorite wrestler's dog tag.

I actually went back to see if this was doable as I was curious as well, I honestly can't see how you could. I couldn't tell a difference between the two I bought either. And they're packaged so weird that you can't feel anything. Which in the end is good for the kids.

Yeah this would make a great gag gift, how much are you looking to sell it for?

I actually went nutso and stopped at several targets and walmarts the other day and got two more, a David Smith 1 Color, and a Randy Orton two color (green with what looks like black camo). So now I have a bunch of random tags and the three relic ones. Lol. Oh well, they're cool. And they're doing actually fairly well on ebay, especially the Randy Ortons. I have one guy who might be buying them but if not I would be looking somewhere in the area of 45 shipped for all three, based on ebay ending prices. Seems expensive I know...but I gotta go off market value right?

hornswaggle was always fun to watch. Not one of the biggest guys but at least when I watched a few years ago one of the cooler ones.

only thing is they get easily damaged cause of the beads from the chain leaving dents or creases from only having 1 card and the tag in there.
