Nice card. I would recommend asking more than the cost of the box for it

Wow that is about a 1k loss. You would have more success investing in Citigroup at this point.

Default IMHO...

Your Razor cut is much nicer and more presentable than the other example. I'd think you should get a bump in price over the other one for such a nice clean cut and display.

Best Always,
Vinny

Maybe he works for Citigroup. What better product to blow that hard earned bailout money on.

Very nice pull. It does look nicer than the other one. If you don't mind me asking what was the offer you received?

you really should have created a better description for your auction. there are a lot of people who might be interested but aren't into cards and have no idea what "razor oval office" is. give some background info on the product, the authentication they use, etc... and don't make the listing look the same as a $3 jersey card. the "wow!" and "awesome" and exclamation marks should go away and have more info on the product.

The other one isn't a 1/1.

I think Razor just made a name for themselves in history. Even if they don't ever make another product, people will always reference this set.

I am not gonna say that National Treasures is a better product. these 1/1 cuts are some of the best looking cuts I have ever seen. The windows make them look awesome and the fact that the duals don't try and squeeze 2 sigs on one side!

Interesting thing is there is a Nixon/Ford dual and a Truman 1/1 also up on the bay:

2008 Razor Oval Office Cut auto Nixon Ford 1/1 dual - eBay (item 290294675375 end time Feb-11-09 19:25:15 PST)

2008 Razor Oval Office Cut auto Harry Truman 1/1 dual - eBay (item 290294675110 end time Feb-11-09 19:22:57 PST)

Both cards up by the same seller, both have the same high bidder at this point, and the same price....interesting to see where they go.

The Trumans and Nixon/Ford came from group box breaks that we did on the FCB website. We actually have sold out two more and the boxes should be ripped sometime this coming week. We have a 5th box break group set up and are working on filling that. There are 20 slots in each group. Blowout provided us with the first two boxes. I imagine the longer the breaks go without the high end names coming out, the higher the price of a box will shoot up. Already well over $1,000 more than direct cost was.

I too see the high bid is the same amount and by the same bidder, but that doesn't really surprise me at this point in the auction. We went with 5 days to avoid having them end on a poor night (such as friday or Saturday, valentines day). Also, some were saying we wouldn't get more than $450 for the Nixon/Ford. LOL - I think these will sell for A LOT more money than people are anticipating based on the fact that they are some of the cleanest cards produced yet with great eye appeal and color. The autos look great so far too. I have seen the Washington Single Cut auto and I don't think the auto looks as nice in the box as these other pulls do, but it's still a very very nice looking card (note, this was picture provided by Razor - the actual Washington cut auto has not been pulled, to our knowledge anyway.)

Which is why many of the big names might not see the light of day for a while, even if they are pulled. There is something to be said for keeping a big pull quiet, especially if you have unopened pack(s) that could go up in value because of it.
