Default Pretty Good Single Box Horrors of War From Ebay

Yeah Hooker was in the Seminole Wars and the Spanish-American War but c'mon, he became a Major General in the Civil War and was in the Battle of Williamsburg, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, the 3rd Battle of Chattanooga and the Atlanta Campaign I'm trying to figure out what he wrote under his name.

Nice card!

What was your base card?

The old story is that he is who hookers are named after for the camp followers that followed his armies around but reading more, seems it's not true since the word is much older than the civil war and relates simply to a woman 'hooking' a man.

Are you by any chance looking for First Raids on Japan for another of the WW2 ones you have extras of?

Case #39, It's my 2nd card #39/40 so far but I can't remember what the other cut was (so it wasn't a big one then). My Saddam was from case #37.

It looks like it may say Brigade (BR) Captain (Capt) - and then something after that

It's a document signed by Hitler, Minister of Defense Werner Von Blomberg and Commander in Chief Werner Von Fritsch(he was killed early in WWII). It states a Col. Mueller is dismissed as inspector of the Western Wall and promotes Col. Kitzinger to his old post. I've always felt weird owning it but hey it's a part of history, and from 1934 not regarding any terrible WWII connotations.

You have no idea how jealous I am right now. As the resident WW2 nut... you have no idea. What's your address again?

Thanks, I'm glad you don't think it's creepy like some people do. It somehow seems less evil thinking it's just some run of the mill everyday business work of Hitler to read and sign it!

Dont be fooled by their prices, they are the highest priced place in the autograph industry and they NEVER get what they are asking. Its just a come on to get you to look at their stock, they will always sell for a lower price. Most people I know in the autograph business dont even bother with them they think they do that to take the unknowing newbie for as much as they can. Use RR auctions as a ref point for selling they do more then most.

just checked out history for sale. $1000 for some current athlete auto photos....wouldn't even pay 10% of their asking price on most of the stuff.

So your saying $1199 is too much for an Aaron/Mathews signed ball!! I wasn't recommending them, just saying they had some incredible historical signatures. Kinda like the UD Authentic Store of historical stuff(price wise).
