8 Boxes of Harry Potter! Dual auto!
I splurged for my wife this Christmas and bought 8 boxes of assorted Harry Potter and she was so excited to open 192 packs. I've incorporated her family's tradition of opening Christmas gifts on Christmas Eve night.
So here's the breakdown: 4 Boxes World of Harry Potter 3D 2nd Edition 3 Boxes Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Update 1 Box Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince Update The 3D and HBP i bought during blowoutcards' after-Thanksgiving sale and the POA-U from a distributor in New York. I'll list the major hits and maybe later list what chase/foil cards I got and will need to complete the sets. It goes without saying that we probably made 3-4 base sets with the 3D and POA-U. 4 Boxes 3D 2nd Edition I know we got all 4 of the different box toppers so we were quite happy with that! One box had two hits and the other 3 had one hit each so that was kind of meh...  Durmstrang Staff from GOF /360  Quidditch World Cup Programs and Flags from GOF /320 Staff and Programs/Flags were in one box.  Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter's quidditch sweater from CoS /360  Buckbeak's Chain from OotP /310 We managed to pull an auto but...  Charles Hughes as Young Peter Pettigrew Autograph Redemption This appears to be a "rare" autograph as described in Jeff Allender's House Of Checklists! Movies & Television Checklists so that's pretty neat. However, I heard that Artbox would not honor redemptions after this year...uh oh... 1 Box HBP-U This was fun box for my wife.  Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter (navy coat) /280 Can't go wrong with a Daniel Radcliffe costume of any sort. The wife managed to snag another auto but it's another redemption:  Helen McCrory as Narcissa Malfoy Autograph Redemption This is considered as an "ultra rare" autograph so that's cool! It's been suggested that I expedite the mailing of these redemptions to artbox before the end of the year. 3 Boxes PoA-U So i bought these boxes in the hopes of pulling the triple Rupert/Emma/Dan or an individual auto of the three. It seems we had one-hit boxes getting:  Harry Potter's Close-Up Quidditch Robe /2173  Harry Potter's Distant Quidditch Robe (with Snitch) /1143 The last box we opened turned out to be spectacular! 3 Hits in one box!  Mr. Arthur Weasley and Harry /900 with Snape in the film cells  Ron's Jumper /731 This sweater is just popping out of its cutout hole. Lastly, we pulled an autograph but we think it's the best aside from the big 3...  James and Oliver Phelps as Fred and George Weasley!!!! Needless to say we were surprised and excited on getting this hit! Hope you guys enjoyed reading and Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays!!!!

If you have to explain why it's a 1/1, then it's NOT a 1/1. Looking for Andre Dawson Serial numbered cards that are his jersey number - either #8 or #10. So looking for cards like 8/8 or 08/99 or 10/250. |
