Default One box of 2012 Leaf Oval Office - Dual 1/1

Hey everyone, thought I would share my group break results of the box of Oval Office we busted. We got a 1/1 dual cut of Warren G. Harding and his Vice President and future President, Calvin Coolidge. While the names might be some of the most historic, a dual cut of two Presidents is always a plus. Let me know how you think we did, I'd be very curious to know.

Obviously it's better than pulling a Carter!

Yeah the guy who hosted the break was a bit disappointed but like you said, with all the Carters and Fords and other out there, a dual 1/1 of two Presidents is not a bad deal at all.

I guess a question I have since I'm very new to the world of Presidential cuts is how close to breaking even are we because if so the group might try another box.

I would say you're not too short of the price of the box. A dual 1/1 should sell for at least $800-$1000 I would think. I wouldn't be surprised if it went over $1000 either.

The Harding signature is presented very well! Love it.

Too bad the Coolidge had to be cut off, but still not that bad.

You know the old saying--two heads (or Presidents) are better than one. It's not like some Oval Office boxes, where the biggest hit is to your wallet.

As for getting another box, IMO most of the pulls I've seen so far have been disappointing for the price. There should still be a ton of stuff out there, especially duals. From the checklist, I counted at least a dozen duals ranging from break-even to jackpot, and AFAIK, only 1 has been pulled so far (JFK/Jackie).

It was part of a group break, 10 people put in $150 each so the box probably cost around $1,500 or so.

Group break is a good idea with this kind of product. Better to lose $50 than $500.

Oh yeah totally agree. I could never go all in alone on these. The store owner I go to down here in cuyahoga falls hooked it up for us. Easy yes for the chance at something amazing. Great owner. Most other store owners just take your money and run.
