Big Bang Theory 2 box break!

Did a Big Bang theory 2 box break Yesterday, first time buying it... I was afraid I would get 2 commons/dupes since i only bought 2 boxes....

My Hits were:

Kunal Nayyar (Dr. Rajesh "Raj" Koothrappali) A5 Auto
Stuart (Kevin Sussman) A6

M1 Sheldon Bathrobe
M3 Sheldon Blue Shirt


Curious to see what the rare cards will book in the next price guide??.. If i'm not mistaken , the A5 Auto is a rare and the A6 is an uncommon?...

That Raj selling for $224 is kindof nuts. These first went only for about $100ish, so been creepin up in price.

WOW, some of those BBT cards really are jumping up in price! Especially the Kaley Cuoco's!.. Thanks for posting that! , yeah I saw Emma in Superbad, then I think the rocker.. She was good in the help! Yeah the case prices are a lot, I know I paid $119 each for my 2 boxes, I think i'm over the avg cost of $20 or so, but I tested my luck before they went up even more! Was hoping for a Penny auto, but getting a Raj still isnt that bad.

Keep in mind the rares are only 1 or 2 per case. From the breakdowns I've seen 3 out of 4 cases will have 2, and the other case will have 1. The uncommons do ok and the Penny wardrobe cards sell higher than all but the rare autographs.

A typical case breakdown will have 2 rares, 2 uncommons and 8 commons (you will get doubles and triples of the commons).

Yup! I broke open 5 boxes, and pulled Raj and an uncommon, and 3 commons. Ended up buying a case last week, for $1250 delivered... so I need to win more in poker to cover the purchase lol. Hope to pull a Penny or Sheldon tho!

I got a penny wardrobe card from a sale today in the mail.. nice looking card!

In your opinion, Is the BBT selling as popular as the walking dead did/ is... i know both are 2 entirely different shows and different networks, but i know both shows are very popular and this is a first time signing for many of these characters..

Well, autographs and costumes are obviously selling much higher for TBBT, and the redemptions are a bit higher too, but TWD does have the 1 per case sketch to partially offset that, but if you were to open an average case of each and sold off the contents I think TBBT would sell for a bit more.

Where the sets may diverge is in future releases, TWD isn't adding any wildly popular characters but TBBT has loads of potential great signers.
The current release is only for season 1 and 2 and there were very few good guest appearances, the only one of note they didn't get to sign was Summer Glau.

Yeah, I saw a sketch or two of the walking dead, and they have the ricks first kill patch/relic, the BBT has the redemption for the 5 wardrobe costume relic ..? Redemption i think.
