animator sketch will always be an extra sketch so you would have 9 total

sincerely, how can you make assumptions without seeing the art? even if it's approximate $90 for a Kezele ROTBH sketch is pretty high.

the kezele is of one of the most popular characters from the show. what would you put as an approx. value on the kezele ? a storm trooper went for 90 dollars and ashoka is possibly even more popular with fans of the show.

also

if you haven't noticed sketch cards of the same artists from the same set generally go for about the same price go check ebay completed listings (popular characters generally going for a little more)

That was a nice first case, can't wait to see the pictures of the sketches from the second case. The 2 Taranishi sketches are of Darth Sidious and Mace Windu, the C-3PO is by Jeremy Treece, and the 2nd Ahsoka is by Braden Lamb.

This is not true. One of the animator cards I pulled was the only card in the box

You can not assume a card will sell for near the same value as a previously listed card. The market is to up and down. I have had a Kezele listed on ebay for under $90 for some time now and it still has not sold. The only thing that matters is if someone is out there who wants the card. It is all a game of chance.

Never assume your cards are worth any specific amount

What is that colored sketch in the first case with the funny nose?
Are any of the artists any good/low numbered?

I know it is Chris Henderson because I collect mostly Star Wars sketch cards. I follow it as a hobbist/collector and therefore can recognize the different artists by their work. This is not about money to me. It is about Star Wars art.

I am not trying to insult anyone, I am trying to learn the artists and their signatures.
Sometimes I sell the sketches to further fund my addiction and keep the wife happy. I learn from asking and dont want offend anyone, I just get a little excited when i pull a beautiful sketch.

If you are not into Star Wars and you are not into art then what is the point of doing this? Sketch card pulling is a gamble. It is not something you can invest in. The value of a card is whatever the flavor of the day is. If you make it about money you will get burned.

Check out:

SketchCollectors.com: Everything Sketch Cards

You can look up the artists by name and then compare the art. If the artist signed on the front of the card you can compare the signatures.

I personally collect very few artists and very few sketch cards generally I collect the short printed sketches from a particular set or the artists that only did a few sketch cards for the set. For this set I am mainly looking for a katie cook though and have yet to pull one in 6 cases and I probably never will but I can hope right

WOW man calm down
Nobody said it was about money, its about selling off some card to keep your hobby alive until you hit a monster for your PC. I dont make it about investing I make it about learning the artist and appreicating his work.
I do my research very well and ask a lot of questions to some very smart people on this board ,who have been doing this a lot longer then me. I have spent 28 years flying helos in the military, so I never gamble, I always put the odds in my favor....if I can.
