Default Just crushed a case of mars attacks

Bad weather here in VA so I decided to go to the local card store in VA Beach
and buy a case of Mars.
Lots of silvers
1 Len Brown auto card #21
2 Golds card # 21-30
and some kick as-, awsome, finally got a good case sketches!
In my order of AWSOMENESS:

1. Mchero?
2. Black?
3. Jason Sobol
4. Russ Maheras
5 John Ottinger
6. Jay?--cool looking card!! whats his whole name?
7. Chris Manuel--dude has got talent. Tons of deep color and detail.
8. Tim Proctor painting--I have pulled 3 of his paintings. I am really starting to like this artist!

It seems the cases run very hot or very cold. The last case I busted before this one was all black and white with one color low grade sketch. When you hit a good case with 3-4 quality color ones it fun. Now I need to hit a S. Pence or a T Dastick sketch...might be easier/cheaper to buy one!

You guys need to visit CANDL COINS, which is on the same street (about 5 min away) from B&B. He might have been able to beat the case price? Nice break though...

Thanks I just bought a Tim Proctor artist return. I will post when I get it.
Should have a couple returns (3) comming from another very popular artist...I am going the return route on some sketches. I can wait to see them.

Congrats on hitting some excellent sketches. You got some real quality sketches from some very talented artists.

I unfortunately hit a cold case. When you hit a streak of B & W sketch cards that look like they were from a 6th grade beginning art class, it stinks. I hit a Shum / Gallongo & in my opinion the worst being what I believe is a B & W Josh Fargher.

Where is the pride in their work? Then you see an outstanding color Ted Dastick Jr & you wonder what the D list artists were thinking when they made their pathetic B & W doodles.

There is absolutely no comparison in quality or appeal. I truly appreciate the artists who have pride in what they do & take the time to do it right.

Well the artists are only paid between $1.50 to $.300 per card, you cannot expect every artist to put in multiple hours worth of work into each card for $1.50, those that do are rewarded, by selling their artist returns for quite a bit of money, and also they garner new fans, who hopefully seek out the artist they like for commissioned work.
