2011 Leaf Comes to an End.....

well after not being able to find anymore sealed cases, I desperately started scrounging for loose boxes. I ended up finding 9 for four different places

In the end I opened a little more than 25% of the 249 cases that were produced of the 2011 Leaf Poker Porduct

Nothing two great was pulled, here are the best two cards along with a Negreanu Diamonds #25/25

I pulled a lot of great cards, a few that didn't seem to surface on the boards, Ebay or with the other Poker collectors include;

Any of the (4) Brad Garrett Stacked Deck Aces numbered of 4 - I spoke to Brian Gray from Leaf, he says they were signed, but I wonder if you notice how the pen he was using seems to have been on it's last legs on the other cards he signed. Maybe the pen died before he signed the Aces??? I pulled at least one of all the other SP Aces and saw many others on Ebay and posted breaks, but never Brad Garrett aka Robert Barrone

Also I know of only on of the 5 Doyle Brunson Clubs being pulled and it sold BIN for $69.99, obviously the guy did not know what he had. I'm not aware of anyone else having one of the other 4 Clubs /5 cards. I know of two of the Chan Clubs /5, I pulled one of those.

I know the Spades /1 of Chan and Brunson were sold on Ebay. Also I pulled and sold at least one each of the Brunson and Chan Hearts /2 and Diamonds /3. Also the Pocket Pairs Red /2

I'll be listing the LAST of what I have on Ebay, it's been a fun ride

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's ridiculous. People may think it's stupid that you collect tennis memorabilia, but you like it so that's all that matters. And if there were a market for those dog cards, you can believe someone would make them.

Back on topic, I've seen your posts periodically and think it's incredible that you've opened 25% of their entire production. Did you keep opening so much mainly looking for those Brad Garretts?

People collect all kind of weird stuff, here is why I opened so many cases

1. I like to play poker

2. It's a limited set - only 249 cases and there can only be 11 complete sets made due to the SP of the Doyle and Chan, I have one of the 11

3. Good value - the most I probably ever lost on a case was 25% and aggreagrate probably broke even and built some cool sets. Whereas opening The Cup, National Treasures, Baseball I lost probably close to 40% with all added together

4. dealt with a lot of great collectors, never once had any problems when trading/selling cards. Everytime i forget to send a card in a large lot, the people were very understanding and patient, thank you!

5. This is to be the last Poker only set from some time

6. Brian Gray - I spoke to him a number of times on the product and a couple concerns, he always answered honestly, quickly and directly

7. Some cool cards, the Stacked Deck set was one of the best ideas ever

I play tons of poker, not really into the trading cards but in all honesty, with all your breaks, you've piqued' my interest.

I would not give a dollar for any poker cards they are not worth it they will be in the junk piles next year....

That's fine, there are enough collectors out there that will and with a limited product no worries. So what do you collect that will appreciate in value?

This Doyle Brunson Ace may have been the coolest card in the entire print run of 14,940 cards - all of which were autographed and all but Annie Duke's 100 or so cards were on card autographs

I was not dissing you for buying them I was just surprised that they made poker cards. As far as my ebay auction sales, I test the water by listing certain items and then pulling them off to adjust the time, price, description, etc. Congrats on the cards though.

Not sure, I bought a lot of sportkings Series D last year, but this year doesn't seem to have the same value. I'm not really into the TV/Movie genre, maybe Benchwarmers?
