Default One monstrous pack of Cryptids

I swore this wasn't a series for me (WW2 and Star Trek fanatic that I am) but there was a certain delight opening the deluxe packaging and revealing the sketch.

And, bam! It's one of the journal sketches by Joshua Werner that I really liked!

It was an interesting mail day. I received a total of two packages, this Cryptid pack, and from wesnilevirus who opened 100 packs right here on Blowout, the set of 15 stamp cards. So, today was a weird critter day for sure.

The auto was Loren Coleman.

Cool pull! Those "journal" sketches are some of the cooler ones.

Thanks!

Yes, it's really not my thing but looking at this sketch in person (I made quite a good scan but it's even better IRL), I actually sat there thinking... this has to go in my PC somewhere.

Love that sketch! Very nice. They did a great job with this set of cards.

I have very rarely handles sketches and this is the first one I 'get'. I finally understand how nice it is to hold something that is crafted that well and the scan (although its good) doesn't quite show the details of the highlights that you get holding the thing up close.

It's kinda cool too that the watercolor wash is so messy it's all over the back of these cards as well.
