Three boxes of 2012 Upper Deck Marvel Premier - Got Lucky!

Hey all, thought I would check in with my three box break of 2012 Upper Deck Marvel Premier. Overall I love this product, the base cards are nice, the insert cards are well done, and the sketches all speak for themselves. Hard to believe that with how popular non-sports has gotten that it took them this long to do a high end product. Anyways I got really lucky, in my second box I got an extra base card as well as an extra base sketch to go along with my Daredevil fold out sketch. I don't have a lot of insight to who the artists are or how collectible they can be but this was just a fun break and a great alternative to all the sports products that have come out lately. Let me know what you guys think!

My base cards were Elektra, Ghost Rider, Mr. Fantastic, Professor X, The Thing, Doctor Doom, and Iceman.

Honestly, I like the base sketches better than the paneled ones. I love the look of the name of the character stamped on them.

Nice break...

UD had a good idea with the large sketches..

But IMO.. They need to just make books... draw 2 different pictures

the hinges dont close welll and the cards just look creased..

From a collecting standpoint agreed. From the ones I got I think I also agree. The Fantastic Four one though really pops with all the color in it. I was disappointed by the lack of color in the Daredevil one but it also looks kinda noir which would match the style of the comic I guess.

Nice break bro. So how many shadowbox cards did you get? Just the one? I was under the assumption they came one per box.

Maybe we can discuss the FF sketch if available. I'll have WD

I think shadowbox cards are 2-3 per case. And if you are for real about the sketch pet me know. I can have the store owner possibly pull it.
