Jusko is a massive pull--congrats!

Eugene Commodore is the artist for the Cyclops. Red Hulk is Jomar Bulda.

Bryanjs14 11-17-2012 01:25 PM

Holy crap that is amazing. Congrats on getting a month or two of your home mortgage paid for.

KingMob 11-17-2012 03:14 PM

I think that's a brood queen. Jusko has been around for years and years probably the best artist in the set.

Igman7 11-17-2012 03:19 PM

The 3 panel is actually Kitty Pride and the alien that attacked her while she was alone in the mansion waaaaaaaaaaaay back in Uncanny 143. BTW Congrats on the Jusko! I can use the base if you are selling, pm me with a price.

Wow, what a great combo, you got a Jusko and it's Mary Jane. Popular character by a big name artist is a massive hit. Love the back that shows Gwen Stacey, Peter Parker and Mary Jane, Spidey fans will love it.

Cujobyte 11-18-2012 03:08 AM

Wow, congrats! That's a beauty!

mcguirem13 11-18-2012 01:54 PM

Wow, you got some great sketches! Congrats on the Jusko!

dd316 11-18-2012 01:54 PM

Yeah that Jusko has to be one of the top sketches in this product. Congrats!

Qwasian 11-18-2012 02:45 PM

awesome pulls man, congrats..... sketches look really good.

aggie4ever 11-18-2012 05:18 PM

Congrats on the Jusko sketch, I read on Scoundrel Art that he only did 10 sketches for the set, of which only 2 were triple hinged (5 single hinged, 3 double hinged, and 2 triple hinged).

Joe Jusko 11-20-2012 02:20 PM

Glad you like these, guys! I did two singles, as well; an Iron-Man and a Lizard.

dd316 11-20-2012 02:28 PM

Wow, you even got a reply from the man himself! :)!:)!:)!

i know it is not cool to bump your own post. But as it is at/near the top anyway I thought it might be ok.

It is really neat to have Joe Jusko comment on here. I grew up on Edgar Rice Burroughs -- Tarzan and John Carter. I have enjoyed your work for a long time.

Joe Jusko 11-26-2012 12:12 PM

Too kind, guys! Thanks for the warm welcome!

Great score on the Joe Jusko sketch cards. I have been collecting comics since I was 8 years old but when the Marvel Masterpiece 1990 set came out, I started collecting cards also. And it was all because of Joe's art work. I hope that he'll come back and do some common cards for upcoming sets in the near future.

goggletan215 12-03-2012 03:22 PM

Woah, that is totally cool of you Joe to comment

ima_do_me213 12-06-2012 12:44 AM

Are the base cards available?

Joe Jusko 12-06-2012 02:45 PM

Hi, all!

I'm so amazed that the 1992 MM cards are still so well liked! To this day, I sign more of those cards at shows than anything else I've ever done. :-) Those were fun times!

mcguirem13 12-06-2012 03:29 PM

Perfect time to do a 20 yr anniversary edition.... :D

jokers_own 12-06-2012 03:49 PM

I have to agree with mcquirem13. It's time for another Marvel Set by Joe. I would buy those with no problem and know that the artwork will be worth it. What says everyone else?

sketchopolix 12-08-2012 11:11 PM

Any set by Jusko would be amazing. I remember when that first MM set hit - living in Chattanooga, TN at the time and going to the little card shop there to buy box after box of that stuff for no other reason than they were so stunningly gorgeous. Fantastic insert set - one of my all-time favorites (probably second behind the villain holofoils from '95 MM). Hope you do more sketch cards Mr. Jusko! Or base cards... How about a DC set from you? Hey Cryptozoic, here's how you could actually get a DC set to sell - DC Masterpieces by Joe Jusko :)

Joe Jusko 02-11-2013 11:50 AM

That really means a lot!~ Thanks!

Another full set would be awesome but it seems today's market couldn't absorb the cost of producing it. :-(
