Default Marvel Premiere Case Break

I've only broken one box so far, but it's a hell of a start. I'll post updates as I go through and get pics of all the sketches.

Box 1:

Base - Spider Woman and Wasp both /199.
Insert - Classic Corners Sub Mariner Vol. 1 #1

Single Character sketch:

Freaking awesome x-23 by Jose Jaro:

Then, the hinged is a 4 panel, absolutely stunning Spider Man and Venom:
I am upset I don't know the artist right off - looks like 'tansa' or 'zansa'

Great start!

Wow--very nice start!

Zansa is Natasa Kourtis. She did some nice work in this product

Box 2 - The nice artwork continues...

Base:
Loki and Galactus /199 each

Emotions:
E1 - Thing #05/50

Classic Corners:
CC-48 Ghost Rider

The good stuff:

Base Sketch: Sabretooth by ?? Will need to look this one up too. Great detail!

Hinged Sketch: Another absolutely unreal sketch by Bianca Thompson!
Jean Grey as Dark Phoenix (Noted as a 1/2 on the sketch)

Hope this good luck continues!

No idea on the Sabretooth--I think that's the famous Mystery Artists--but I believe your hinged sketch is by Bianca Thompson.

I don't think it would be Ninaltowski--he signs his with a distinctive "END" signature

Box 3 - Probably the 'weakest' so far...

Base:
She Hulk and Invisible Woman both /199

Emotions:
E10 Mysticism - Dr. Strange 27/50

Shadowbox:
S25 - Thor vs. Iron Man

Single Sketch - Punisher by Charles Holbert. Very nice detail

Hinged sketch: Storm by the ever popular 'mystery artist'

Next up, Box 4 which ends with something quite nice...

Base Cards:
Green Goblin and Emma Frost both /199

Classic Corners:
CC32 - The Avengers Vol.1 #94

Emotions:
E12 - Wolverine - By far the coolest one of these yet.

Single Sketch - Sabretooth (again!) by Lee Kohse

Hinged Sketch - This beauty pops out...

Fantastic Four - Thing - by Joe Jusko!

Anybody care to venture a guess on value of the Jusko?

2 more to go!

Box 5

Base Cards:
Daredevel and another Emma Frost (Yay!) both /199

Shadowbox:
S32 - Thor vs. Loki

Single Sketch: Storm by ??

Hinged Sketch: Double hinged of Starfire Sunspot ?? ... gotta look it up. Awesome detail. Artist actually must have used an x-acto knife to texture the surface. Incredible detail that pics can't show.

Finally! Done... and it ends pretty well with what must be some type of "hot" box. Ended up with an extra base card and an extra single sketch, so that was pretty cool...

Base Cards:
Professor X, Ghost Rider and Luke Cage. All /199

Shadowbox:
S32 (Again!?) Thor vs. Loki

Base Sketch Card 1 - Black Panther by ? (I should know this, lol!)

Base Sketch Card 2 - Cyclops by ?? (Please don't yell about me not knowing all the sigs)

The final booklet is single hinged - Characters ?? by Buckshot

Pretty darn good case, overall! Very happy with the results. Most will be on feebay by the end of the evening. Might be keeping the Jean Grey, as that's one character I collect. The Wolverine emotions booklet may be spoken for already, as well.

Seriously, though, anybody got any input on the Jusko? I know somebody here hit that Mary Jane 4 panel and got good $ for it.

Thanks to all for following along on the break today!

Storm is Rodrigo Dos Santos

The Cyclops and hinged sketch are by Elvin Hernandez

Black Panther is Wendy "Mashi" Chew

That's a great case!!

For the Jusko, I don't know but I think $800 wouldn't be crazy.

You're amazing. Thanks for those. I was thinking a $999 BIN, fielding offers, so glad to know I wasn't crazy. I was just looking for some reinforcement on my thoughts... Thanks!

Hi, all! I wanted to catch up on a couple of things. Been under some crazy deadlines and con season has started so it's been difficult to get to everything online.

For those inquiring about sketch card commissions; I opened the package I got from Upper Deck assuming they were Marvel Premier blanks but they were not. They were, however, the two AP singles I did (Iron-Man and The Lizard). I have put them on Ebay with really modest reserves so the market can dictate the value and everyone can have a shot at them!

Original Iron Man AP Sketch Card by Joe Jusko | eBay
Original Lizard AP Sketch Card by Joe Jusko | eBay

As soon as I have word on the MP blanks I'll let you guys know!

Enjoy!

--Joe

Joe,

$20 shipping is a little too much. You can ship first class with insurance for way less and it only takes 3-4 days to arrive.

I would think if someone spends hundreds of dollars on a card they'd want it insured.

I ship my cards in a box with insurance it costs about 6-10 bucks total. 15 for overseas registered mail.

Bidders will just factor the shipping cost into their bids--it's not a big deal.

Given where these cards will finish, $20 is not a big deal and if you do send it overseas, it will be $19.75ish via registered mail WITHOUT insurance, so $20 is an appropriate price. (Aston, overseas postage went up to $6.50 a few months ago).

Joe, insurance is less expensive if you use express mail, so given the price this will hit, I'd ship Express insured. You get signature confirmation that way. PayPal requires a signature if you have a problem with item delivery so whatever you do, use at least signature confirmation, which will cost you $2.70 in the post office.

Overseas your shipping will be more than $20 if go Express, so if someone in Japan wins, they should be ecstatic they only had to pay $20 shipping.
