Default Three Cases & Two Boxes of Viceroy Space Scan Heavy (Orrery & Kezele)

Hey guys, I'm putting these pictures up and will get the names set up when I have time. Really I cannot say enough about these beautiful cards. I appreciate all of the cards I pulled so much! It's late and I spent a bunch of time carefully scanning these guys so here are the two boxes I got from Blowout:

Leah Mangue

Lynne Anderson

This was Case #45:

Ingrid Hardy

Stephanie Swanger, Rhannon Owens

Chris Henderson

Mike Vasquez (??)

Eric Spohn

Ted Dastick Jr.

Mark Dos Santos

Robert "Bob" Adauto

Chris Manuel

This was Case #33:

Catherine M. Miller

Stephanie Swanger and Kristina Sepulveda

George Vega

David Rabbitte

Ted Dastick Jr.

Tim Proctor

Pablo Diaz

Chris Manuel

Francois Chartier

And This next case was the first case (06) I opened and contained the best surprise! I will put more images at the end of these pictures of the big hit:

Gary Kezele

Gavin Hunt

Joshua Werner

Mark Dos Santos

Chris Manuel

George Vega

Lynne Anderson

Mike Vasquez (??)

George Vega

Francois Chartier

One of the cards has raised paint:

More of the orrery:

And an album link for those of us who are into the stamps!

Wow--very nice break

Thanks for the detailed photos of the sculpture. I've spent too much on the sketches to pick up one of those, but it's nice to see the amazing detail.

Thanks, I was having a difficult time positioning my Nikon's focal point to show the planets in detail but I wanted them arranged in a random position. Just to be clear the Earth has a little gold colored moon attached at the base and Saturn has "rings" attached beneath it. Very creative orrery for its size!

I bought them directly from Viceroy after carefully monitoring this thread.

Like Monkey, I too have spent a lot of money on this product (I snagged this bad boy) so if I get offers they would have to be high. Especially on the sculpture considering I didn't get any negatives or plates ... got a bunch of killer sketches but I like to have a good mix when I hit a set. Thanks for your interest though!

Feel free to PM me an offer as everyone has their price but I just got a message from the artist (just so you know what price range to expect):

Quote:
The card was painted using artist quality acrylic paint and the texture was applied using Windsor and newton acrylic modelling paste. You may also like to know that a similar one of mine recently sold on ebay for $175. Similar meaning a pack pulled Viceroy space sketch of a space-scape painted using modelling paste.

Your card was actually amongst my favourite of the 20 I contributed.

Cheers

Gavin Hunt
Alternatively you could perhaps approach him about an AP ... I'm a collector not a flipper.

Savage Scott, I asked Gavin for a link you could follow and he said you can see much of his work and his progress here on his Facebook page. (warning for some Betty skin on that link if you're at work)

Thanks for the link, amazing work!

If Gavin is inquiring about purchasing it from you, I would much rather you sell it to him. If it doesn't work out, please shoot me a PM. I have no clue on values on these, never owned a sketch card in my life, but that one in particular is gorgeous.

Thanks again,
Scott

Whoops! Sorry, I guess my post was kind of confusing. He merely sent me a note congratulating me on pulling the card and him saying it was the favorite. I don't think he was interested in buying it, just letting me know what a hot little number I'd pulled

congrats again on the great cases! The ones you have marked Mike Vasquez do like his work, and the other one you had a question about the artist's name is David Rabbitte, he posted a thread in the non-sports section saying he did only 5 sketches for this set (and showed all 5 he did).
