Default George Lucas Auto

I can't believe it. I ordered 4 boxes from blowout. The 10th pack out of the

first box I hit a George Lucas auto- I think the odds are something like

1:96,000 (scan is coming soon). Need some advise on how to list it on the

bay. Should I do a buy it now or best offer? If so, What should I list the buy

it now at? If I do a traditional auction, should I put a reserve on it- and if so,

how much? Realistically, how much do you think I can get for this card? Any

input would be helpful.

I would go with a traditional auction with no reserve. Start the bid at .99 and let it run wild!

One on ebay right now at almost $800 with 3 1/2 days to go, you will come out good!!

I agree....I'd get one really nice scan of it, and get it up on Ebay at .99 and let it run. These are very short printed and you'll get plenty of activity. With no previous ones ending, its hard to guess the value. I'd guess 1500-2000 but I could be wrong (given Harrision Ford's went for 4500 B/O).

Spielberg and Harrison Ford sold for $4500 each - I would guess the Lucas to be worth in excess of $3000

They only made 10 of each of these.

Yep $.99 and let it ride! easy $2500. If you go BIN or BO I'd start at maybe $4000-$5000. That is super cool and super rare nice pull!

I'm having a hard time understanding why the Speileberg that is on ebay right

now is going for $2600.00 w/ about a day and a half left, but the Lucas that

has about 2 and a half days left is at only $760.00. I would think that Lucas

would be the more popular signature (Star Wars, anyone?). The only reason I

can come up with is Speilberg's signature is MUCH nicer that Lucas' scribble.

I would say overall that Speileberg is more well known. Lucas hit a huge homerun with Star Wars but overall the resume of Speileberg is like no other. I wouldn't worry, the Lucas Auto will finish strong!

for most auctions, the majority of bidding takes place within the last 24 hours of the auction.
