There are other sellers doing it too. I don't get it either. All this does is drive down prices on everything else including wax!

Why don you complain to Topps for loading this release up with costumes instead of short printing them?

Lord knows they had a ton of sketches they could have tossed out and most people know that a sketch card would keeps its value over a costume 99% of the time.

I think the complaint is with the sellers who sell too low. I have been saying this for a long time. This market will crash if these sellers don't wake up.

The question is - is it really too low. This costume piece is obviously overproduced. The seller is pre-empting the inevitable, which is the card will drop below $9.99

You're probably right. I can't argue it. I wish I could.

Gee, this post looks familier but when I called someone out for doing it last night I got blasted. It is funny how we stick up for our own but if someone else does it we get out the pitchforks.
Oh well. I am glad to see I was half right at least.

Blame Topps for putting out out too many of these.

Lets be honest, when they first announced the costumes, who didnt expect these to be harder to get than the sketch cards and close to the odds on the autos?

With the delays Topps had, for whatever reasons but most likely due to the sketch card situation and having complete runs turned down by some artists, Topps had PLENTY of time to whip up a few diff costume card options that could have helped with the over abundance of what we see now.

Hiro dual jacket shirt?

Hiro/Isaac dual shirts?

How about an auto'd costume to break it up a bit?

Maybe theyre keeping that stuff stashed away for the next two releases rumored for this year on Heroes.

I wont blame any seller that sells for what they want and are happy with. Even if its lower than what Im selling em for.

i think the issue is why not let the secondary market determine whether a card is worth x amount of dollars before selling at the low end of the spectrum.
sellers listing low, then other sellers trying to undercut BIN's drive prices down very fast.

I agree. Parkman is the chubbiest guy in the relic set so there's gonna be more of these to go around hence the lower price. Maybe Claire can put on about 100 lbs. so we can have more swatches of her,but I don't think she'd look too good in a cheerleading outfit.
