Just absolutely Awesome!

Do you know why it was rejected?

Nope, but I'll be doing a replacement so no worries. Just an excuse to go back to the Quick Stop.

Great work Ted! Always going the extra mile. I was looking for some of your Night of the Living Dead sketches on ebay last night because I never got one. Didn't you mix in NOTLD cemetery dirt with the ink/paint for those?

Sure did. I think I still have some blanks APs if you can't find anything on Ebay...

Also, I only have 1 AP for this set. Like I said above, the one I already did was rejected so I have to do another. I'm probably just going to let it ride on Ebay whenever I get to it. Plus, I wasn't kidding when I said I want to bring it ot the Quick Stop again. It's not that far from me.

Anyone open any of this? Does it show odds for the Red parallels #/37?

Or has anyone opened a case? Seeing how many Red Parallels a person got in a case would give us a rough estimate of the production run.

There were six in the 12-box case busted on BlowoutTV. Every other box basically.

So if the Red Parallels #/37 are 1 in 40 packs, then UD made about 6,660 boxes or 555 cases.

This seems pretty typical to me.

So using the Red to try to then calculate the odds and print runs of the unknown hits, I have put this together. I had to use some assumptions, so not all the odds are exact:

While the RST and Big Choice Video store membership card idea for the autographs is unique, it's not a style I would prefer to have in my collection. I haven't seen any live examples of the other auto cards yet. Almost none of this on ebay yet.

Busted 2 cases. Trying to get a master (or as close as I can) for a customer.

Notables from my cases...
1. Base cards 71-90 appear to be short printed. I only managed 2 complete base sets per case.
2. Other insert sets (The List, Big Words, Walt Art & Kevin Smith Insights) got enough cards to make the suggested number of sets- but did not actually make that number. Have a lot of incomplete sets missing 2 or 3 each.
3. Single auto format- did not get any in 2 cases.
4. Got way too many duplicate autos (Big Choice Video and RST Video formats). I got like 4 of the same auto (same person- same format) for about 3 people.
5. Did not get ANY Kevin Smith autos. None.
6. Did get 2 dual autos and 1 triple auto.
7. Also got 1 Walt Art auto card numbered 1/5 and 1 Steve Stark auto card numbered to 10.
8. Seems there are 2 sketches per case- not one.
9. There are printing plates- got 1 out of the two cases.
10. Missing 2 patch cards for a set of 13.

All in all, a cool idea, but a BIG miss by Upper Deck.
The contents per case does not support the price in my eyes.
Not even close.
The collation needs to be much better.

Mike.

Soooooo this stuff will be Black Friday buys at $29.99 like Firefly, and a LOT of the other non-sports stuff.

Upper Deck rejected my shop as a UD seller, even though we do NOT have another seller of UD products in our entire state of Albuquerque. I think it's safe to say they are moving towards E-Packs only, and GOOD LUCK with that. lol They are sitting on tons and us buyers will not buy at the e-pack odds/price.

Yeah someone mentioned earlier that there has not been many singles to hit the market so far. Until UD changes their distrobution policy this will continue to be the case with these niche products. Instead of opening up sooner to general distribution UD now has epack to fall back on so I guess it works out for them in the end.
Btw, I would like to visit the State of Albuquerque someday, is there a travel guide available? Lol!

I got the original joke.

Yeah, as a big Clerks fan I was considering a case or two of this now, but it sounds like I'll just wait to see how far the price drops.
