May have to make this my first case purchase ever. The gf is excited. Thoughts on a price point or is it too soon to tell?

Box should be around what they've been in the past.

Now.. what they do after that is the million dollar question.

I have it on good authority that they are cracking down on sketch card approvals. Things like the shadowy stick figures will not be approved so, looking at some really generic stuff.

Cases are usually in the $800 range. With the last 2 years being kind of duds, imho, I'm hoping they spice it up this time.
Would be nice to get some major signers and maybe even a newer Clarke inserted auto.

They way they're hyping the Clarke relic card, I bet that means no Clarke auto again.

Has that sound to it. Tricky because I like autos to be kind of rare overall. There isn't a blue version yet.

Never know on Clarke. No signers were announced yet except the incentive cards. Maybe they'll surprise us.

She only started collecting GoT last year. Got some boxes from 5, 4, and 3, and totally missed the boat on 1 & 2. Even a not-so-stellar product would get her a ton of auto needs and really jump start her collection. That's my thinking anyway. Looking forward to more info and insight from everyone. This forum rocks.

I'm excited for this set, but I'm not going to get my hopes up on getting Clarke again. Although, it would be fantastic!

I really hope they have Diana Rigg and Liam Cunningham.

I'd like to see them do more dual autos.

Prelim checklist is up (without autos, sketches, relics). And a second GoT set is listed on the release schedule for August--Game of Thrones: Valyrian Steel.

With no characters, they were pretty generic in the first place, IMO....

There's always more, usually 45-50 autographs total, but in past years the final lists added no big names.

I'm liking Richard E. Grant and Clive Russell there. Hoping for Ian McShane...

At this point I think Liam Cunningham is the ONLY main cast member (whose name appears in the opening credits) that hasn't signed for the set.

I just collect bordered autos from this series, so we'll have to see which of those there are this time around. Hopefully, the Dany costume will be a nice one.

May not be getting a case after all if that's the final list. I'm glad my fave made it though. "Natalie Dormer (played by Queen Margaery)" Reverse auto. Ha

It's definitely a little lackluster. Hopefully, they have a few surprises.

Looks like they added Sophie Turner! That's some good news for this set! I love the pic they chose.

Turner is a good addition. Was Art Parkinson always on the list? I'm not remembering seeing him on there before. Regardless, we are getting four of the Stark sons and daughters! I don't like that so many appear to be the "blue" versions.

I think Art Parkinson is new.

The GOT sets did get a bit repetitive, but i thought the last release was a good effort with brand new signers, who were reasonably substantial signers.

Is it odd that they have it slated to release on a Sunday?
