Hold on, are sketches really 1 in 6.67 boxes, or under 2 per full $1,500 case?

Well glad I only placed a small order. I love spiderman, but man alive those odds are tough as old boots. I don't really know what an inner case will hold.

Am guessing these odds are linked to a later down the line epacks release?

Yea no idea what a full case of this will bring.
Long sketch odds (disappointing) and it seems very very parallel heavy.
They also added bronze (/150) and purple (/5) PMGs
Seems like 1 jambalya per inner case

They also posted the epack odds so I assume UD is banking on something similar to MM2016

Ugh. 1:80 for sketches and what appears to be no big hit per box? So why are these > $100 a box?

Looks like epack will be digital cards with the combine 10 copies thing. Not quite the same as MM16.

Long sketch odds will help the cards hold value though right? So in the long run this is good for everyone who busts cases yes?

I like the odds on the Plexi Sketches, hopefully that pushes the value sky high on these things for you guys.

Yea...
Good thoughts..
I am just concerned seeing that many artists and that long of odds that there is going to be a lot of cases of this (plus e packs)

how many sketches did you do for this if you are allowed to say?

Can somebody who has more time and expertise than me give a rough view on what an inner case might hold for those that might have ordered one. lol.

20 Regular stock (thick like Masterwork stock)
20ish Plexi stock, just as thick. But a couple got rejected.

So the math doesn't work out.

At 3 base cards per pack we have 36 cards
Inserts will fall about 2 per pack and according to cardboard connection there will be 21-23 per box.

There will be 60 cards per box. Assuming 23 inserts/parallels that leaves 1 unaccounted for card with a max of 3.

Hmm. Does that mean there will be one big hit from one of the listed low number cards or high odds cards per box?

Greed, obviously.

Resale value will drive this release, just like the Jusko set. If the secondary market demand is there, it will sell well. If not, it won't.

After looking at the checklist... Very happy I didn't pre-order a case. Being such a Spidey fan, I was really really wanting to push the button.

Deadpool inserts are... out of place? Did they not think Deadpool could carry his own set down the line? Sounds like they were trying to broaden the collector base for this with a random wildcard.

I know there is 99.9% chance I'm wrong, but I'm thinking there might be a mistake on checklist. Maybe that checklist is pure epack release. Might be a small chance the physical release might have different odds . I know, I know its a reach, ok, a far far reach. Just doesn't make sense to make buying epack better than buying physical when you can get the same odds plus achievements. But I guess its Upper Deck we are talking about.

Sighs

2 things...

Are we able to crunch the numbers and fig out roughly how many cases produced by the info given?

And as a sketch collector, I appreciate the information/odds as I can now cancel my order.

This is a good point.
Hoping this is true!

seeing that the checklist shows 3 per pack and the sell sheet lists 5 I also would agree with Sharad that these appear to be e pack odds...

i wondered if UD did not make the card set with his movie since it was rated R? did UD think this was NOT kid /collector appropriate (I loved the movie, but no way would i ever let a child watch it) I guessed that was why UD didn't do a set with deadpool

I dunno really, I've never seen any rejected Upper Deck cards I did out in the wild, so I can assume they are destroyed.

Can't "UpperdeckMatt" just confirm this is ePack odds?

I thought the sell sheet was 5 cards per pack, so doesn't this mean 3 base and 2 inserts per pack?

taking the PMGs for example
50 different names on the checklist
that alone is
9,950 bronze
4,950 red
2500 blue
500 green
250 purple
50 plates
50 gold

Total 18,250 PMG cards a lone.
