Angry Quality of sketch cards from Topps

I had just busted a box of Star Wars Clone Wars and Indiana Jones -The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Box. The sketch cards in both boxes could have easily been drawn by my 2 y/o son. Do you think the quality of sketch cards Topps allows is decreasing?

I open a lot of sketch products and noticed that the quality of sketch cards that topps has allowed has always been the same. Think of it this way an amazing sketch card wouldn't be worth as much if their aren't some dud sketches in the product. And Indiana Jones KOTCS is probably one of the worse sketch products that Topps has put out since the vast majority of sketches from that product are lacking in quality.

Plus if you want a quality sketch card for the most part you should probably be opening rittenhouse products since they guarantee full color in each of their sketch products.

Yes they are horrible, but they are also not a secret. You can go anywhere, even on ebay and find horrible sketches from each of those series for sale. In this case, it's up to you as the consumer to know what you are buying.

KOTS sketches are bad...even someone has popular as Katie Cook doesn't command her normal premium.

It's no different than buying a box of baseball cards and the auto you get is of an Orioles middle reliever. There are many that are "meh," but there are also many that'll make you jump up and go "woohoo!"

I'm curious to see the sketches you pulled.

You win some, you lose some, and some you break even. Personally, I don't think the quality has decreased. The production numbers have gone up and there are just more lower end sketches inserted now because demand for these cards has steadily risen over the years.
