See what can happen when Topps gives a little breathing room between products!

Many cases that I just bought a few months ago for $400-$600 are now $100-$200 higher or can't find any left.
This is true. Release spacing combined with smaller/appropriate print to order runs helps everybody, including Topps in my view. I hope things don't go mad later in the year. We probably have;

- Rogue One Series 2
- 40th anniversary
- Galactic Files reborn
- FA 3D?
- This vintage gum set. Topps exclusive?
- The Last Jedi (# sets to be confirmed)
- Masterworks 2017?
- High Tek 2017?

My wish is that Topps would not release a Tek or MW this year and then beginning in 2018 move both products to every other year with one in even and one in odd years.

I completely agree. I would almost wish that they release them once every 5 years.
Just do one of the following each year:
Allen and Ginter
Chrome
High Tek
Masterwork
Heritage

Then you also do like 2 sets for each movie, some box sets and then sprinkle in products like Galactic files, Illustrated, anniversary or whatever.

This way Topps is happy being able to do 8 sets or so, but it doesn't get repetitive.

To be honest, we can easily do without a Masterwork or High Tek release until Ep 9.

It's stupid to have sets like MW2 come out right before Rogue One with no Rogue One characters even though the other merch was out since September.

Then High Tek 2 had like 2 or 3 Rogue One cards as well.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, sets like Galactic Files 1 & 2, where they build upon eachother, are much better. High Tek and MW reused too many cards are were more redos than continuations.

The only real downside to this set is they didn't announce production numbers, there could be 5000 boxes made. At $100 per box, waiting for TFA 3D is looking like a much better option.

I have to agree. If this isn't a numbered set I have a feeling it will be around for a while. I'm also with you on the signer list. It's an Episode IV set...Why all the other signers?

TFA 3D is looking better and better.

I bought one to get the set and free shipping during the pre-order window. We'll have to see if the set gets discounted before I consider buying multiples to chase the big name autos that there are probably only 3 of each inserted the whole product. But I would be more likely to do that with TFA 3D.

EDIT: You can currently add a maximum of 1976 sets to you cart. So that means they made 1977 and I'm the only one that has bought one. ;-)

I see there are parallels too ...

"Plus as a bonus we’ve added base card parallels to chase in Blue (# to 75), Green (# to 40), Gold (#to 10) and Red (1/1) as additional cards. "

I honestly don't see me going for this set ... same old same old on the autos, and the high overseas shipping will add about 50% on top (plus the likely customs charge to boot).

It says there are bonus parallel cards as well, so if they made around this amount, you should get 3 parallels per box right?

The Buzz article says "as many as five parallels" packaged with each set so maybe the number of parallels per set is random.

I ordered a box! Hope I get a signer of the classic Cast! Just having the chance of getting a Mark Hamil or Harrison Ford auto is awesome!

Since 3-5 color parallels will be in the product, we won't be able to complete a non-numbered set with just 1 box?
The description on website confuses me.
It says, "Plus as a bonus we’ve added base card parallels to chase in Blue (# to 75), Green (# to 40), Gold (#to 10) and Red (1/1) as additional cards.", but I was assuming they are replacing the non-numbered card of that parallel.
I can always pick up those non-numbered singles if I want to make a non-numbered set, but if anybody knows, please let me know.

I hope they meant the parallels will be in addition to the 49 card set and the 2 autos. That's how I took it anyway.

guessing that the print run is 1977 for the presale and more will be added after that. the fact they are not divulging total number of sets is keeping me away from this release.

With the parallels hitting around 3 to 5 per box, they really can't make anymore boxes than 1,977.

How has Topps not figured out international shipping. $44 to Canada is an insult.
