Default Harrison Ford Auto Cards

Guys,
What is the population of Harrison Ford Autograph Cards? How far back do they go across all sets? I know he has some generic "movie star" card autos too. How many are we talking? I know he will continue to sign as well with a few big sets on the way. Just trying to get an idea of how many are out there. Any sites that track this kind of thing or are we stuck with checklists?

Thanks!

*Update! I found this:
http://www.cardboardconnection.com/h...llecting-guide

Which does a nice job of spelling out which sets he is in, it's not 100% current, but overall a good starting point.

*Note: I'm not counting auto relics or multi auto cards : WIP below. If you have any numbers, please post them and I'll update.

The first set he signed for was pretty limited which was the 30th anniversary set. Aside from that, he use to have 10-15 cards in each set and now it's lowered to only a hand full per release.

Well, I know you know how many Indy cards he signed <wink>,
but what about pop century or whatever? I don't really follow any sets outside of SW.

So if I start looking at checklists, from 30th forward, I can get a rough count?
I was initially thinking under 100 total, but if he started with 10-15 per set, it may be higher than 100. I know MW 2016 is only 1 card. But I don't have a feel for others, Maybe I will start a tally in the OP.

The Ender's Game set is the one and only set where Ford signed in quantity IIRC

I think the estimate for Ender's Game is 50 Ford autos. No official print run on Pop Century, but I would guess in the 25-50 range.

I think it's safe to say that he hasn't signed anymore than 100 cards total.

He signed more than 1 for Masterwork 2016, each one is just 1/1. Canvas, wood etc.

I was thinking around 200. 10 here, 10 there, 5 here.... plus the Ender's Game and Pop Century.

I've been wanting a Harrison Ford autograph just like everyone else, but I live in Southern California so I figure I just have to be patient and I can get one one on the cheap. I mean, once he crashes a small plane into my house, he'll pretty much have to give me an autograph. I've taken to keeping a couple of nice cards for him to sign in opposite ends of my home and also a few in the glove compartment of my car in case I happen upon him after he accidentally lands on one of our area freeways.

Where there's a will, there's a way. And bonus - it will be ON-CARD!

I was curious so I compiled a list of Topps Star Wars sets to date that include Harrison Ford autos. Did I get them all? When I list "Base" I mean there were auto cards on the base design. That could include parallels (in some cases only parallels), plates, proofs, etc. I think the total goes over 100 but certainly not up to 200 or probably even 150.

- 30th Anniversary - 2007 - Base
- Galactic Files - 2012 - Base
- Jedi Legacy - 2013 - Base
- Galactic Files 2 - 2013 - Dual
- Chrome Perspectives - 2014 - Base & Triple
- Perspectives (UK) - 2014 - Base
- Masterwork - 2015 - Base & Triple & Pen - (25 total)
- High-Tek - 2015 - Base
- Force Awakens Series 1 - 2015 - Base
- Force Awakens Series 2 - 2016 - Base
- Force Awakens Chrome - 2016 - Base
- Evolution - 2016 - Base
- Masterwork - 2016 - Base & Medallion - (9 total)
- Rogue One Mission Briefing - 2016 - Base
- High-Tek - 2016 - Base
- Sugar-Free Bubble Gum - 2017 - Base

It was actually closer to double that. The big three all ended up signing extra. It was so late in the game that the pack odds didn't reflect this.

I just used google images, it was a good way to get set names that I wasn't sure of. I don't know if all the sets are represented, but there are a lot of different ones out there.

Just the 16 sets you listed alone probably total over 100. Add in the Ender's Game and Pop Century which are probably 25-50 each and you're certainly closer to 200.

I thought they were serial numbered?

Masterpieces was, Heritage and Crystal Skull were not. I have images saved of 16 different Heritage Ford autographs.

I think the Ender's game set was around 80 or 90 if I am not mistaken. Best odds of getting an on card item and most reasonable in price too. About a third the price of a SW one.

Ender's game was 50. I remember either Crypto or numbers-crunchers saying one in every 6 cases and there were 300 cases.

You're correct in that Ford was one in 6 cases (6.06 to be exact according to Crypto) but I'm not sure there were 300 cases. Asa Butterfield stated that he signed 250 cards for that set and I never saw a case that didn't have one of his autos in it. In any case it definitely was a great way to shoot for a Ford auto and they're really nice cards despite the fact that his character name is misspelled on the front of the card.

So you're saying all Fords from Heritage have been found.
Do you know if the Lucas and Spielberg cards are all out too?

I'm not sure how many were made in total. At least 16 though as that's how many unique ones I've seen.
