What you aren't taking into account is if they do this like Transcendence, there are more than just the autos (and some autos will be parallels)

Potential cut autos, high end sketches, prop/costume cards And a premium base set with a super low print run will add lots of value.

I'm echoing some of the above posts, but if done right, with a numbered base set, cut auto per box, super high quality sketches etc, then this could be a really fun group break. Curious to see how this product finally works out.

Agree.
I think it could work well

It's been discussed how Jordan autos got driven down in value a lot in the 90s and he stopped/slowed a ton, but a set that's limited to 100 boxes, may not contain a Ford in each, will not ruin his prices.

I could see a drop, of course, but more people want to afford his auto than people who have one of his want to keep the value high. I do understand the ripple that once the signer value drops, the box/case value for the set drops as well.

And in all honesty, after seeing some of these celebs at Celebration and hearing stories about them, I don't think I'd ever want to meet Ford over someone like Hamill. All I hear is he's a pompous, cocky jerk who could care less about having fans and just wants his money, much like Han Solo.

Meanwhile Mark loves the fans, would gladly sign and do photos all day for free, if his contract allowed, and is the best part about Star Wars (much like Carrie was with her fans).

Don't know if this is true or not, but someone said Reed/Topps was trying to get Mark to charge $300 for photos/autos at Celebration and he negotiated down to $200 sicne we're already paying to be there.

Echoing what has been said already in this thread. At this type of price point, the following signers would absolutely NEED to be present:

Ford
Hamill
James Earl Jones
Ridley
Driver
Neeson
McGregor
Christensen
Portman
Lucas

Would definitely help:

Fisher cut or sticker
Sir Alec Guinness cut
Sam Jackson
Spielberg
John Williams

Well Topps said a lot of the signers they had there, so that'd cover Hamill, but Ford, Lucas, and Williams were also present.

It was very odd to me how Ewan and JEJ didn't have any video package talking about their work, yet Neeson and Jackson did.

Even if Topps offered Portman $7K per card, I don't think she'd sign.
