Yellow typically is just tough to see the image unfortunately. I usually prefer black, but honestly black, magenta, and cyan almost always look cool. Sometimes the image or character is just a better fit with a certain color (black cat, black or scarlet witch, magenta...)

That's pretty cool. I suppose I am more pleased with Magenta than yellow or cyan, but black for Thanos would have been the best.

This is my first plate ever so I am pretty excited about that.
Frequently, I would say black comes out best, but your magenta Thanos is way better than the black that was pulled. The card must have used little to no blacks, because the black plate looks all bleached out... Thanos isn't as clear as he is on your magenta...

Oh yeah, that black one is disappointing! I would have expected it to be a lot cooler.

Made another red base parallel this morning...

And I am 3 base shy of making a red on another character. MA trading has really slowed down the last week+.

so you need a 100 base to make one red? 10 base to make a gold, 10 gold make a red?

Yes... trading makes it pretty doable though. The cards that are impossible to red (and nearly impossible to gold even) are the SP cards numbered 101-150. But pretty much every card 1-100 is easily traded for. One of the bigger breakers offers 20 base (or 2 golds) for every SP... so if you are willing to deal your SPs (which are physical cards from the getgo) it is pretty easy to red any base card you want after about 2 weeks of trading. Basically trading is the best aspect of ePack. If you enjoy trading, it is a great venue to do it. You can process hundreds of trades and not encounter postage expense until you cash out and have your cards mail to you.

Anyone interested in trading some of their base marvel cards for alien base cards and maybe some white foils?

I don't need any highly praised characters, just want to clear out some of my stuff while working towards Marvel stuff.

Finally figuring out the appeal of trading. Love that I can get rid of Aliens, Doctor Strange and some other digital cards I am not planning to combine while working towards combing Marvel cards. I am gunning for Patriot just cause luck has given me a head start with him.

I'm looking to pick up any SPs and Top 10 you're willing to move on Epack.

My ID over there is cygtr, Thanks!

Thanks but I think most of us are doing that. I know I am working on that as well.

I have been able to make some small time trades that have been fun. Was able to get enough digital Havoks to combine into gold by trading digital that either aren't in my current plan or I just don't want from other sets. My fav. may have been a trade where I got a digital Havok in exchange for a digital Doctor Strange card with Wong on it where the other person had nine of it but then could combine for the 10th. I suspected he'd go for that.

I have also traded some silver foil Alien cards and basic inserts for various digital marvel cards of characters most don't care about (like Stingray). It's nice getting the digitals, but its even better getting rid of some foil cards I will never ask to have shipped.

Tried my hand at a box. Not like I nec. got anything amazing to justify the price, but I def. feel like I got more than if I'd bought 20 single packs spaced out over time.

Big note worthy cards that I got:
1) Daredevil patch (my first patch, not the most exciting but fun to get one).
2) Variant cover of Miss Marvel, eh ok I guess?

Otherwise it just felt like I saw a lot more interesting cards than usual, like the in memorial set and stuff.

Anyone know if boxes usually seem to guarantee a patch?

MA boxes guarantee a "hit". It's not always a patch, can be sketch, or plexi diecut, or printing plate too. The single character patch (non SP) tends to be the weakest hit though. In those boxes you also tend to get a variant cover card as well. The variant cover cards can do pretty well in trade though.

Is your problem the sketch or the asking price?

Plastic sketch cards... I'd give the artist the benefit of the doubt that he did the best he could with the time he had. Hold upperdeck accountable for thinking it was satisfactory to go into packs.

Looks like Spider-man 2099 side profile of his head. Took me a bit to see it. I haven't seen many of the Plexi's that are actually good.

Looks like Spidey profile to me.

Those plexi-sketches are such a bad idea to begin with... that format is just so limiting and not conducive to great artwork, even from the best of artists.
